Objectives:
to identify the strategies found in the literature for increasing vaccination coverage among children in Brazil. It is justified mainly by the current scenario of falling vaccination coverage.
Methods:
systematic literature review. The search was carried out in the Pubmed (MEDLINE), Embase and Scopus databases, following the PRISMA guidelines.
Results:
initially, 4,824 results were returned. In the end, 6 studies were included for narrative synthesis using the SWiM methodology. Of these, 50% dealt with studies related to the Bolsa Família Program (PBF). The others explored strategies for approaching parents directly, Rapid Vaccination Monitoring (MRV) and the Community Health Agents Program (PACS). The PBF did not guarantee compliance with the conditionality of keeping vaccinations up to date. The MRV and PACS are effective strategies, especially because they allow active search for absentees.
Conclusions:
we conclude that more publications are needed on strategies to increase vaccination coverage among children in Brazil.

Objectives:
to construct and assess an educational video to promote the adherence of women with pelvic organ prolapse to vaginal pessary use.
Methods:
this is a methodological study, with a longitudinal design and quantitative analysis. The pre-production (synopsis, argument, script, storyboard), production and post-production stages were covered. Content and technical assessments were carried out by judges from the health and communication areas, respectively, and appearance assessment by the target audience.
Results:
the video was the first to be developed on the topic on the national scene, considered assessed from the point of view of appearance and content, presenting an overall Content Validity Index of 0.99 and a level of agreement among judges of 91.1% to 100%. Assessment by the target audience reached a percentage of 96% to 100%.
Conclusions:
the educational video is an instrument capable of promoting adherence to pessary in women indicated for this therapeutic approach.

Objective:
to report the construction of an educational technology to promote non-violent communication for health professionals.
Methods:
an experience report on the development of an educational technology on non-violent communication for health professionals, prepared by members of a social university extension project. The Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle was used as a process or product management procedure.
Results:
two complete management method cycles were performed. A mini almanac was generated as a final product, which addressed the main elements of non-violent communication, an example of its use in everyday life, hobbies and interspersed activities.
Conclusion:
educational technology construction (mini almanac) by members of a university extension project was facilitated using the Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle, proving to be a resource for disseminating non-violent communication in health work and promoting a culture of peace.

Objectives:
to unveil the meanings that nurses attribute Information and Communication Technologies for the nursing work process
Methods:
qualitative research, theoretically and methodologically based on the Complexity Theory and on the Grounded Theory, respectively. Research with 19 participants, being 12 clinical nurses, and 7 resident nurses. Semi-structured interviews were used for data collection.
Results:
the results revealed the meanings that clinical nurses attribute to Information and Communication Technologies and, thus, the motivations and limitations for the use of these technologies, pointing out possibilities and strategies that impact the nursing work process, based on the interactions promoted by the official and non-official use of these resources.
Final Considerations:
the meanings that nurses attribute to Information and Communication Technologies are dependent on their ability to successfully employ those technologies and their importance to the work process developed by the professionals.

Objectives:
To evaluate the knowledge, applicability and importance that nursing students attribute to therapeutic communicative strategies.
Methods:
This is a quantitative study (survey) with nursing undergraduates from a public institution. The online questionnaire by the SurveyMonkey tool, comprising the informed consent form and six questions, had its relevance, clarity and operability assessed by experts.
Results:
Of the 104 graduates, 50 participated in the study; the most well-known and applied strategy was Therapeutic Communication, followed by Ask-Tell-Ask, NURSE and Tell Me More; the least were PACIENTE and SPIKES. Most use the strategies they know best; all were considered important by at least 82% of the students.
Conclusions:
The partial knowledge and application of these strategies by the students contributes to reflect on the complexity of their teaching-learning process.

Objectives:
to identify the scientific evidence of the elements of communication in the process of communicating bad news in pediatrics.
Methods:
integrative review searched in the LILACS, PubMed and WoS databases. Primary studies in Portuguese, Spanish or English were included.
Results:
the evidence from the 40 studies were organized according to the elements of communication: sender (family and/or professional), receiver (family and/or child), message (bad or difficult news about diagnosis/prognosis; empathetically, honestly, objective, hopeful and available), channel (materials, quality, quantity and pace), context and effects (social and emotional changes), noise (feelings and language) and failures (silencing and misleading information).
Conclusions:
there is a need to prepare the institution and team, as well as the family and the child, in order to promote co-responsibility in this process, to minimize suffering and communication noise and to avoid failures, recognizing the child’s right to know their condition.
