Objective:
To describe the experience in the implementation of the Humanitude Care Methodology (MCH) in the humanization of care for the elderly.
Methodology:
This is an experience report about the implementation of the MCH, in a Health Service in Portugal, with capacity for 30 elderly people, most of them having cognitive alterations.
Results:
The implementation of the MCH has shown positive results in the humanization of care for the elderly, namely in the reduction of agitation behaviors and better acceptance of care. There was a change in organizational culture, more focused on the person and on the humanization of care.
Conclusion:
The results reflect the need to introduce innovative care methodologies in the training of health professionals, with a focus on interaction, for a professionalized relational care that dignifies the person cared for and the care giver.

Results:
the analysis revealed the themes: humanization in the ICU; working condition in the ICU; management of people in the ICU and management process in the ICU.
Final considerations:
humanization is necessary through the change of the work environment and the managerial process, privileging the participatory management model as a way to transform theory into practice and value the worker.

Objective:
To analyze the practice of obstetric nurses operating in a prenatal/delivery/postpartum unit of a university hospital in Mato Grosso and the maternal welfare resulted from the care provided in this scenario.
Method:
Study with a quantitative approach, carried out in a prenatal/delivery/postpartum unit of a university hospital in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. The data were collected through the Scale of Maternal Welfare in Delivery Situation 2, and the study included 104 recent mothers in the period from June to September 2016. The data were analyzed in Epi Info version 7.
Results:
The results indicate that the practice of obstetric nurses is based on the humanization of labor and childbirth, however, the presence of invasive and unnecessary practices in the service did not influence the level of maternal welfare, which was optimum for 76% of the women.
Conclusion:
The lack of information might make the women less critical and, therefore, influence the evaluation of the care received

Objective:
To reflect on the sensitive behaviors of indigenous healthcare professionals based on the philosophy of Emmanuel Lévinas, to ratify completeness, equity, and humanity.
Method:
reflective study.
Reflection:
Studies have identified inadequacies in meeting the indigenous singularities. In the hospital and outpatient settings, they are diluted in the search for care. The difficulty of the professionals to admit them generates conflicts and non-adherence of indigenous individuals to treatments that disregard their care practices. In Lévinas, consciousness requires, "a priori," sensitivity to access the Infinity on the Face of the Other, which in the face-to-face encounters is presented to the Self as radical Alterity, proposing an Ethical relationship through transcendence. The freedom of the Self as to the Other is finite, as the Self cannot possess the Other, and infinite for its responsibility for the Other.
Final considerations:
The Self builds essence and existence in responsibility. In the Ethics of Alterity, in Lévinas, reflections are proposed that influence sensitive behaviors.

Objective:
to evaluate the care provided at an Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum (AIP) unit at a teaching hospital following the inclusion of obstetric nurses.
Method:
transversal study, performed at a AIP unit at a teaching hospital in the capital of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. The sample comprised data regarding the 701 childbirths that took place between 2014 and 2016. The data were organized using Excel and analyzed using version 7 of Epi Info software.
Results:
the results suggest that including obstetric nurses contributed towards qualifying the care provided during labor and childbirth, followed by a reduction in the number of interventions, such as episiotomy caesareans sections, and resulting in encouragement to employ practices that do not interfere in the physiology of the parturition process, which in turn generate good perinatal results.
Conclusion:
inserting these nurses collaborated towards humanizing obstetric and neonatal care.
