Objectives:
to understand the experience of nurses with nursing consultations in the context of the Family Health Strategy and propose a representative model.
Methods:
qualitative research using Grounded Theory, with 14 nurses working through non-directive interviews. For data analysis, three stages were used: open, axial and selective coding, which originated phenomena, themes, categories and subcategories, which supported the construction of the central category and, consequently, the theoretical model.
Results:
the interrelation of phenomena emerged from the essence of the nurse’s experience, revealing the central category: From nursing education to the practice of Nursing Consultation, unveiling learning, challenges and autonomy as intervening components. Final Considerations: the nurse’s experience is positive and, despite numerous challenges in daily life, the nurse has been performing it based on comprehensive care. New studies may add new understandings that enable the expansion of working conditions, valuing the nursing consultation.

Objectives:
to elaborate and validate a data collection tool for nursing consultation with men in the context of Primary Health Care.
Method:
a methodological study developed in four stages. The first one consisted in tool elaboration, using databases and the Dorothea Orem’s theoretical model. In the second and third stages, content validation and tool appearance by 23 nurse judges took place. The Concordance Index was used for assessment. In the fourth stage, a pilot test was carried out with 20 men using Primary Health Care.
Results:
of the 145 indicators prepared, organized and submitted to validation process, items with the Concordance Index <0.80 were excluded. The final tool consisted of 156 items. An overall 0.88 Concordance Index calculation was obtained.
Conclusions:
the final tool presented content validity for data collection with men in Primary Health Care.

Objective:
Construct and validate instrument content for nursing consultation in an adult chemotherapy outpatient clinic.
Method:
Methodological study composed of two stages: elaboration of the instrument and validation of content. A literary review of the dimensions of customer care was carried out in the light of Theory of Basic Human Needs Theory, culminating in two instruments: one for admission consultation and other for follow-up. The content was validated by the evaluation of listed experts based on the adapted Fehring’s Validation Model.
Results:
In the first round, two items of the admission instrument and three items of follow-up required reformulation. In the second round, there was an increase in agreement rate: 11% in the instrument of admission and 10% in follow-up.
Final Consideration:
The instrument represents a guideline for the Nursing Process and future research, but it cannot be seen as a substitute for nurses’ knowledge and clinical reasoning.
