Objectives:
to report the implementation and maintenance of an evidence-based Standard Operating Procedure for surgical counting performed at a teaching hospital.
Methods:
a report of a project to implement evidence for surgical counting, carried out at a university hospital in December 2017, and the subsequent cycles for better performance of the implemented organizational document and maintenance of better results until March 2022.
Results:
the report is divided into implementation project presentation and four other cycles after implementation, related to maintenance of improvements. It was possible to prepare a Standard Operating Procedure for Surgical Count, train the nursing team, carry out educational intervention for surgical teams.
Final Considerations:
there was an improvement in complying with the standardized procedure at the first moment and worsening in the period related to the pandemic. New efforts began again, including a self-instructive online course combined with first-time strategies.

Objective:
to evidence the clinical outcomes of navigation performed by nurses in cancer patients.
Methods:
this is an integrative literature review with collection in MEDLINE via PUBMED, LILACS, Web of Science, Scopus, and CINAHL databases. The final sample consisted of seven studies. The data were analyzed and presented descriptively. Data related to clinical outcomes were compiled and described in full. The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality categorization was used to assess the level of evidence.
Results:
the clinical outcomes demonstrated were decreased distress, anxiety and depression, improved control and management of symptoms, improved physical conditioning, improved quality and continuity of care, improved quality of life, reduced time to start treatment.
Final considerations:
there is research that shows better clinical outcomes in cancer patients through navigation by nurses across the continuum of health care.

Objectives:
to evaluate the impact of training on brief interventions for use of substances on the attitudes; and, face validity and internal consistency of Brazilian versions of the Drug and Drug Problems Perceptions Questionnaire (DDPPQ-br) and the Short Alcohol and Alcohol Problems Perception Questionnaire (SAAPPQ) for use among teachers.
Methods:
methodological (N=122) and quasi-experimental study (n=27). A sociodemographic questionnaire, the DDPPQ-br and the SAAPPQ were applied before and three months after the training. For analysis, were applied the Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon tests.
Results:
the DDPQ-br and SAAPPQ were considered valid by experts. The training improved teachers’ attitudes towards accountability on the approach to substance use at schools and on the readiness to perform this role. In relation to drugs, it increased the perception of support.
Conclusions:
teachers’ training can improve their attitudes and strengthen the school in the function of preventing substance-related harm.

Objective:
to describe the results of face and content validation of the questionnaire entitled Quality Improvement Implementation Survey, and of two complementary scales as part of the adaptation process to the Brazilian language and culture.
Method:
included the following stages: (1) translation and synthesis of translations; (2) consideration by the expert committee; (3) back translation; (4) evaluation of verbal understanding by the target population.
Results:
the questionnaire was translated into Portuguese and its final version included 90 items. In the pre-test, the target population evaluated all items as easy to understand, with the global average of 4.58 (maximum value = 5).
Conclusion:
the questionnaire is currently translated into Portuguese and adapted to the Brazilian context. The adapted version maintained the semantic, idiomatic, conceptual and cultural equivalence, according to the assessment of the expert committee and the information provided by the target population, which confirmed the face and content validity.
