Objectives:
to analyze the validity of the Resilience at Work Scale (RAW Scale - Brazil), 25 and 20-item versions, based on its internal structure (dimensional and correlation), with professors and health workers from a public university in southern Brazil.
Methods:
methodological study, developed in 2018, with 526 participants. For psychometric tests, the following were used: Confirmatory Factor Analysis; composite reliability, and convergent validity against the Engagement at work; Occupational self-efficacy; Overall resilience; General Health Questionnaire; and Social support at work scales.
Results:
both versions had factor loadings > 0.30, adequate fit indices and satisfactory composite reliability. In both versions, strong and direct correlations with general Resilience and Self-efficacy were evidenced; moderate and direct with social Engagement and Support; and moderate and inverse with General Health.
Conclusions:
the RAW Scale 25 and 20 - Brazil meets the validity requirements with potential for assessing resilience at work within the studied context.

Objectives:
to analyze and compare levels of stress and resilience in nurses before and after the assessment for maintenance of the Hospital Accreditation Certification.
Methods:
quantitative, observational, and longitudinal research, with 53 nurses from a philanthropic hospital, in the Rio Grande do Sul. Data collected in two stages, March, and July 2019, before the assessment visit and 60 days after, using the Bianchi Stress Scale and Resilience Scale. Descriptive and analytical statistics were employed.
Results:
the majority of participants showed an average stress level before and after the evaluation. The highest stress scores were related to Domains E (coordination of unit activities) and C (activities related to personnel administration). In both moments of the study, the participants had medium and high resilience.
Conclusions:
managing people, processes, and assistance are stressful activities in the Accreditation process and increase the nurses’ stress levels.

Objective:
to describe the sociodemographic and health characteristics of elderly people, measure the score of total resilience and by sex and verify the association of sociodemographic and health variables with total resilience and by sex.
Methods:
this is a household survey with 808 elderly people, assessed by validated instruments. Student’s t test and multiple linear regression (p<0.05).
Results:
most were female, 60|-|79 years old. The total resilience score was 78.06, for men 81.53 and for women, 76.32. Total resilience was associated with males; positive self-perceived health; greater participation in Advanced Activities of Daily Living; fewer morbidities; absence of depressive symptoms. Among men and women, resilience was associated with greater participation in Advanced Activities of Daily Living and absence of depressive symptoms and, specifically, among women, positive self-perceived health.
Conclusion:
these results contribute to nursing care, aiming to encourage resilience.

Objective:
to analyze the organizational culture of a psychiatric hospital and identify the capacity of resilience of nursing workers.
Method:
quantitative research. For data collection, were used the Brazilian Instrument for Evaluation of Organizational Culture (IBACO - Instrumento Brasileiro para Avaliação da Cultura Organizacional) and the Resilience Scale (RS).
Results:
participants reported the existence of centralization of power and devaluation of workers, despite recognizing the existence of collaboration at work and practices for improving interpersonal relations. In relation to the capacity of resilience, 50% of workers showed high level, and 42.9% a medium level of resilience. The correlation tests revealed negative values between the IBACO and RS domains, indicating that the lower the appreciation of individuals in the institution, the greater their capacity of resilience.
Conclusion:
the organizational values reflect the work organization model in the institution that devalues the workers' needs and requires greater capacity of resilience.
