Objectives:
to map available evidence on telenursing use in the postoperative period and its impact on patient outcomes.
Methods:
a scoping review, conducted according to the JBI model and the PRISMA-ScR checklist. The search was carried out in the CINAHL, Embase, LILACS, PubMed, Web of Science, SciELO, Scopus and Cochrane Library databases.
Results:
twelve studies were included, published between 2011 and 2023, 66.6% of which were in developed countries. Of the positive outcomes, we highlight improved levels of disability, autonomy and quality of life, lower rates of post-operative complications, pain and reduced costs. Telephone monitoring was the most widely used modality, but there were few studies in the pediatric context and in Brazil.
Conclusions:
of the studies, 11 (91.6%) identified at least one positive outcome in telenursing use and none showed negative aspects in the postoperative period. The role of nurses in digital health needs further study.

Objectives:
to analyze the effects of a multiprofessional remote intervention and telenursing in the treatment of obesity.
Methods:
pragmatic clinical trial of intervention, conducted with obese adults. The multiprofessional remote intervention with a nurse occurred for 16 weeks through a messaging application. The application analyzed body composition, hemodynamic and laboratory variables, comparing the results obtained with the group that participated in face-to-face multiprofessional intervention without a nurse. The study investigated the effects of the intervention comparing the intervention groups and the moments through the ANOVA test for repeated measures.
Results:
Group 1 obtained significance in the variables: percentage of body fat (p = 0.008); blood glucose (p = 0.014); insulin (p = 0.001); abdominal and waist circumference; and HDL cholesterol (p = 0.000).
Conclusions:
the effects of multiprofessional remote intervention and telenursing significantly decreased the risk variables for metabolic syndrome in the treatment of obesity.

Objective:
to report the experience of telemonitoring Brazilian nursing homes before coronavirus and COVID-19 infections.
Methods:
a descriptive experience report that occurred between March 18 and April 25, 2020 through telemonitoring nursing homes in Salvador, Bahia, following a script previously prepared for first contact and follow-up. The telemonitoring was carried out by professors from the School of Nursing of Universidade Federal da Bahia and Graduate Program students for four weeks.
Results:
thirty-two institutions were followed for four weeks. Some facilities and difficulties appeared during the monitoring.
Final consideratios:
as nursing homes are collective households, their residents are vulnerable to transmission of infections. In addition, the diversity of structures and economic, social and human resources needs of these locations reveal their fragility and urgency of public policies that address such diversities.
