Objective:
To assess the quality of care transition from hospital to home for COVID-19 patients.
Method:
A cross-sectional study conducted at a University Hospital in Southern Brazil, involving 78 patients discharged after COVID-19 hospitalization. Data collection was performed via telephone using the Brazilian version of the Care Transitions Measure (CTM-15). Data were analyzed using descriptive and analytical statistics.
Results:
The mean quality of care transition was 70.8 on a scale ranging from zero to 100, indicating moderate quality of care transition. The highest score was attributed to factor 1, “Preparation for self-management,” and the lowest to factor 4, “Care Plan.”
Conclusions:
It is important to enhance communication and support provided to patients during the transition process, especially regarding understanding prescribed medications and the development of clear care plans.

Objectives:
to describe the organizational climate perceived by nurses of a hospital linked to the Brazilian Hospital Services Company and the reasons for the turnover intention.
Methods:
mixed, concomitant triangulation type. Qualitative data were analyzed according to the discourse of the collective subject, in addition to quantitative data analysis, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. Data collection was carried through a semi-structured interview with 116 nurses.
Results:
the study presented the speeches in five categories: Leadership and organization support; Reward; Physical comfort; Control/pressure; and Cohesion among colleagues. It showed that, with increased Reward factor, there is a decrease in turnover intention; and, with decreased Physical comfort, there is an increase in turnover intention.
Conclusions:
there is a dichotomy in the organizational climate perceived by nurses, and personal reasons mainly justify the turnover intention. The reason could be the current processes of institutional reorganization and the hiring of experienced staff.

Objective:
to describe the changes implemented in the work environment of nurses in university hospitals considering the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods:
this qualitative and descriptive research was developed from an online survey with 75 nurses from three Brazilian university hospitals. Data processing occurred through textual analysis with the aid of software IRAMUTEQ.
Results:
five semantic classes were obtained: Organization of units for exclusive care of patients with COVID-19; Adaptations in the use of personal protective equipment; Physical structure adaptation; Care flow institution; Increased number of beds and training courses. Final considerations: the results show the effort of healthcare and nursing professionals/managers in the development of structural adaptations and reorganizations of care processes, in the hospital context, to respond with quality and efficiency to the demands arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Objective:
To identify the epidemiological profile and causes of disability pensions for university public servants.
Method:
A cross-sectional and descriptive study, carried out with 40 retired employees due to disability of a public university. Sociodemographic, occupational and clinical data were obtained. The analyses were stratified according to gender, considering a significance level of 5%.
Results:
Disability pensions were more frequent among women (72.5%), aged up to 60 years (77.5%). Mental and behavioral disorders were mainly responsible for pensions (35%). There was a significant difference between the sexes (p ≤ 0.05) for the variables: educational level, function performed by the worker and presence of dependents.
Conclusion:
The epidemiological profile showed a higher frequency of female, married/stable marital status, aged between 51 and 60 years and up to 12 years of schooling. Chronic degenerative diseases were predominant among the causes for disability pensions.
