Objectives:
to validate a scenario for clinical simulation: prenatal nursing consultation for adolescents.
Methods:
methodological study developed from January to December 2019, in five stages (overview, scenario, scenario design, progression, debriefing and assessment). The validation involved four volunteer students, a teacher as a facilitator and four judges. The judges filled out a Likert scale with four responses. Data was analyzed using Microsoft Excel® software, version 2016. Absolute and relative frequencies and the content validity index were calculated, considering a minimum acceptable value of 1.0.
Results:
the preparation of the scenario was based on the proposed learning objectives. The scenario was validated with a global content validity index equal to 1.0.
Final Considerations:
the study achieved the proposed objective. This scenario can contribute to preparing nurses to work in the care of pregnant teenagers, a representative public in Brazil that requires specific care.

Objectives:
to analyze the opinions of healthcare students on organ and tissue donation for transplantation.
Methods:
qualitative document analysis study, using the records of a database and analyzing data from two perspectives: 1) Lexical analysis, with the IRAMUTEQ software, and 2) Thematic content analysis.
Results:
from the analysis, 3 main categories were generated: 1) Organ and tissue donation as an act of love for others and an opportunity of a new beginning; 2) Clarification and awareness on organ and tissue donation; and 3) Importance of communicating the family and promoting organ and tissue donation.
Final Considerations:
despite being in favor of donation, students also recognize the presence of social taboos; the discussion in the family nucleus, promoting the theme and raising awareness in society are considered important. Additionally, the education of students is one of the possibilities of intervention for the issue.

Objectives:
to analyze the knowledge of caregivers and the factors associated with neuropsychomotor development in children.
Methods:
a cross-sectional study, with a quantitative approach, was conducted with 220 child-caregiver binomials attended in the public health services of the municipality of Parnaíba, State of Piauí. The study used the “Denver Test II” and the “Inventory of Child Development Knowledge”.
Results:
the study classified 197 children with natural development and 23 with suspicious development. Caregivers with a higher level of knowledge about child development were associated with children with better development. The study considered caregiver knowledge, gestational age, and exclusive breastfeeding as protective factors for appropriate neuropsychomotor development when used the regression model.
Conclusions:
actions aimed at indicators that presented positive associations must be implemented to improve child development, such as educational activities to increase the level of knowledge of caregivers, improvement of prenatal monitoring, and encouragement of breastfeeding.

Objectives:
to analyze the concept of alteration of skin condition in newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Methods:
this is a concept analysis operationalized by scoping review. The search was conducted in three parts: the first, in sources like Scopus and Web of Science; the second, in Google Scholar®; and the third, through a parallel list of references.
Results:
according to the types of skin, the most frequent alterations were erythema/redness and pressure injuries. The concept analysis was more evident in the attribute “skin lesions or alterations” than the others. The most frequent antecedents were gestational age, birth weight, and factors related to hospitalization. Among the consequences stood out infection/sepsis.
Conclusions:
this study allows improving the vision of health professionals regarding alterations in skin condition of neonates and, therefore, may contribute to a safe and systematized nursing practice.

Objective:
To analyze the time trend, spatial distribution, and the cases of human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome cases with social determinants of health.
Methods:
Ecological and analytical study, carried out based on the cases of human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome notified in a state in the Brazilian Midwest, from 2009 to 2018. The study used descriptive analysis, polynomial regression, and geospatial analysis.
Results:
In 10 years, there were 9,157 notifications, growing each year. There was a growing trend for both sexes (p<0.001, r2=0.94). The City Human Development Index was related to the higher number of cases (city of notification, p=0.01; and city where the person lives, p=0.02). The highest concentration was in cities that house health macro-regions.
Conclusion:
Social determinants have a relationship with the time trend and the spatial distribution of cases and can direct strategies for prevention and care.

Objectives:
to describe the organizational climate perceived by nurses of a hospital linked to the Brazilian Hospital Services Company and the reasons for the turnover intention.
Methods:
mixed, concomitant triangulation type. Qualitative data were analyzed according to the discourse of the collective subject, in addition to quantitative data analysis, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. Data collection was carried through a semi-structured interview with 116 nurses.
Results:
the study presented the speeches in five categories: Leadership and organization support; Reward; Physical comfort; Control/pressure; and Cohesion among colleagues. It showed that, with increased Reward factor, there is a decrease in turnover intention; and, with decreased Physical comfort, there is an increase in turnover intention.
Conclusions:
there is a dichotomy in the organizational climate perceived by nurses, and personal reasons mainly justify the turnover intention. The reason could be the current processes of institutional reorganization and the hiring of experienced staff.

Objectives:
to estimate incidence and free time of peripherally inserted central catheter obstruction in newborns undergoing red blood cell transfusion in the first 24 hours after the procedure.
Methods:
a longitudinal study, carried out with neonates in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a teaching hospital in Paraná, between January and July 2019. The sample consisted of 46 transfusion events performed in neonates through a peripherally inserted central catheter. Analysis performed according to descriptive statistics.
Results:
thirty-one catheters were analyzed, inserted in 24 neonates, through which 46 red blood cell transfusions were performed. Most neonates were male, gestational age <32 weeks, weight <1,500 grams, hospitalized mainly for prematurity. Among the 31 catheters, one (3.2%) presented obstruction after transfusion.
Conclusions:
The occurrence of obstructions immediately after transfusion was low and the catheters remained complication free for the next 24 hours.
