Objective:
to understand the family dynamics in face of the reality of the elderly living alone.
Method:
study of qualitative approach with theoretical reference of symbolic interactionism that involved interviews with families. Data were analyzed by thematic analysis.
Results:
six families participated in the study. The discourse analysis originated the following categories: The family respecting their decision making; The family organizing itself to the process of living alone after the age of 80 years; The family experiencing the freedom of living alone.
Conclusion:
in this study, it was possible to identify the facilitation of the possibility of living alone with preparation and agreements between the family during the family life cycle, leading to the feeling of freedom and quality of life of all members. Nursing, as a science responsible for elaborating care strategies, should work together with families to assist in the planning of care plans based on the individual social reality of the family.

Objective:
to reflect on nursing education, taking into account the principles of complex thinking proposed by Morin.
Method:
reflection based on the principles of the complexity theory by Edgar Morin.
Results:
the application of complexity in teaching proposes an emancipatory education based on questioning and social transformation. It comprises the education of nurses who interact with others as a characteristic of their work. It is necessary to prepare students to develop critical and reflective attitudes and actions to overcome the fragmentation and linearity of knowledge.
Conclusion:
nursing care has been based on a reductionist assistance, reflecting the Cartesian model. Thus, nursing education seeks to comprise shared knowledge and experiences so that no subject or professional overpowers another, accepting the uniqueness of professionals and patients.

Objective:
to analyze health promotion programs in the supplementary health care.
Methods:
This was a multiple case study with a qualitative approach whose data were obtained from interviews with coordinators of providers contracted by the corporations of health insurance plans in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The data were submitted to Critical Discourse Analysis.
Results:
Home care has been described as the main action in the fi eld of health promotion transferred to the providers, followed by management of patients and cases, and the health education.groups. The existence of health promotion principles is questionable in all programs. Outsourcing is marked by a process with a division between cost and care management. Implications of this process occur within admission and interventions on the needs of the benefi ciaries.
Conclusions:
Statements revealed rationalization of cost, restructuring of work, and reproduction of the dominant logic of capital accumulation by the health insurance companies.

Objective:
to analyze factors associated with Apgar of 5 minutes less than 7 of newborns of women selected for care at the Center for Normal Birth (ANC).
Method:
a descriptive cross-sectional study with data from 9,135 newborns collected between July 2001 and December 2012. The analysis used absolute and relative frequency frequencies and bivariate analysis using Pearson’s chi-square test or the exact Fisher.
Results:
fifty-three newborns (0.6%) had Apgar less than 7 in the 5th minute. The multivariate analysis found a positive association between low Apgar and gestational age less than 37 weeks, gestational pathologies and intercurrences in labor. The presence of the companion was a protective factor.
Conclusion:
the Normal Birth Center is a viable option for newborns of low risk women as long as the protocol for screening low-risk women is followed.

Objectives:
to analyze palliative care production developed by health professionals to home care patients.
Methods:
this is an exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, using the transpersonal care theoretical framework. Thirteen interviews were conducted with health professionals and 18 observations were conducted on different cases. Content analysis was performed using MAXQDA©.
Results:
actions performed: maintenance and follow-up measures to people eligible for palliative care, in acts of dialogue and “listening” to caregivers and users, conducting guidelines for the care and self-care process, performing technical procedures, delivery of materials, referrals and medical prescriptions to users.
Final Considerations:
it is perceived the need for advances in the implementation of government policies in Brazil that insert palliative care into the Health Care Network through educational, managerial and care actions that ensure human dignity, thus allowing the development of these and other palliative care interventions.

Objective:
to synthesize evidence from qualitative studies on nursing experiences regarding child and adolescent mental health care in specialized services.
Method:
a systematic review with meta-synthesis of qualitative studies according to JBI guidelines. CINAHL, EMBASE, MEDLINE, LILACS, PSYCinfo, Scopus and Web of Science databases were used. The findings were classified according to the level of reliability and credibility and categorized by similarity between contents.
Results:
229 articles were identified, and five were included in the final sample and organized into the categories: Emotional impact; and Understanding nursing role. The level of evidence found was moderate.
Final considerations:
nursing experiences are permeated by emotional exhaustion, feelings of frustration and difficulty in understanding their professional role. The need for training spaces that qualify this care is highlighted.

Objectives:
to understand how fake news has influenced adherence to Covid-19 immunization, from the perspective of health professionals.
Methods:
a qualitative, descriptive-exploratory study was conducted in Campo Grande – MS. Twenty nursing professionals working in vaccine rooms or managing immunobiologicals participated through semi-structured interviews. The interviews were audio-recorded, fully transcribed, and subjected to thematic content analysis.
Results:
two categories emerged in which the professionals highlighted an increase in vaccine hesitancy among the population, influenced by fake news and denialist actions, which negatively interfered with the population’s trust in vaccines and in the professionals administering them.
Final Considerations:
concerns about vaccine safety and denialist actions by authorities and media outlets can contribute to the phenomenon of non-vaccination. The valorization of science, the promotion of educational actions, and raising public awareness about immunization were presented as strategies to increase vaccine coverage

Objective:
To apprehend the social representations elaborated by older people about HIV/AIDS and to understand how they relate to the prevention of HIV infection.
Method:
Descriptive and qualitative research based on the Theory of Social Representations with 42 older people assisted at primary care. Data were produced through in-depth interviews with a semi-structured instrument, processed in the IRaMuTeQ software, and analyzed by means of the descending hierarchical classification.
Results:
Five classes emerged: “HIV/AIDS: a problem of young people”; “Quality of life improvement for people living with HIV/AIDS”; “Vulnerability to HIV/AIDS among heterosexual women in a stable union”; “HIV/AIDS Information Network: process of creation and transformation of social representations” and “Prevention versus stigma”.
Final considerations:
The social representations that older people have about HIV/AIDS influence the adoption of preventive measures negatively because stigma is present and HIV/AIDS is attributed to young men, and to men who have sex with other men.

Objective:
Identify the level of reproductive autonomy of quilombola women and associate it with sociodemographic characteristics and aspects of sexual and reproductive health.
Methods:
Cross-sectional census study carried out in quilombola communities in a municipality in Bahia. Data was collected through questionnaires from the National Health Survey and the Reproductive Autonomy Scale, applied to quilombola women who agreed to participate. Descriptive statistics procedures were used and associations were made between reproductive autonomy scores and sociodemographic and reproductive characteristics.
Results:
The average total score for reproductive autonomy was 2.06. An association was found between the “decision-making” score and marital status. The score for “total reproductive autonomy” was associated with the use of contraceptive method.
Conclusion:
The reality of the study participants converges with the literature regarding the interference of sociodemographic and reproductive factors in the reproductive autonomy of black women.

The results showed psychosocial risks related to the work of psychiatric nurses, such as: insufficient academic training; lack of preparation and maintenance of equipment; poor relationship with colleagues; shortage of human resources and lack of capacity building; conflict between the demands of the home and work, as well as strategies for managing psychosocial risks such as family, cinema, music, reading, among others.
Final considerations:
This study should provoke the reflection of managers and future nurses regarding the working conditions in a psychiatric hospital and possible psychosocial risks to which they are exposed.

Objectives:
to present the particularities of the World Café, identifying the main aspects that characterize a planning strategy for a constructive, interactive, and participative dialogue of the individuals, aiming at collaborative and innovative learning.
Methods:
a World Café method workshop with 24 professionals from the teams that work in basic health units.
Results:
we obtained three analysis categories: Individual Needs, Group Needs, and Institutional Needs, which resulted in the Municipal Plan of Actions on Continuing Health Education.
Conclusions:
we found that the World Café was adequate and relevant for the discussion of key themes, for the practices of teams in Primary Care and the production and organization of data in a collective space.
Final Considerations:
the method can contribute to the construction of knowledge and proximity to the daily reality of interdisciplinary teams, as well as serving as a tool in the preparation of planning in Permanent Education.

Objective:
To analyze the temporal trends in the fertility rate, proportion of antenatal consultations and caesarean sections in Brazilian adolescents aged 15 to 19, between 2000 and 2015. Methods: The fertility rate, proportion of prenatal consultations and proportion of routes of birth were calculated using data from DATASUS. The trend analysis was performed using the Prais-Winsten regression model and the annual percentage change.
Results:
There was a trend of reduction of 3.5% per year in the fertility rate among adolescents (p<0.05), in addition to an increasing trend of 6% per year in the proportion of more than six antenatal consultations (p <0.0001) and an increasing trend of 6.8% per year in the proportion of caesarean sections (p<0.0001).
Conclusion:
Despite the decreasing trend in fertility rates among Brazilian adolescents, they remain high. Also noteworthy is the growing trend for caesarean sections, even with improved access to antenatal care.

Objetives:
to analyze the implication of the training/continuing education process of professionals of the Expanded Nucleus of Family Health and Basic Care (Portuguese acronym: Nasf-AB) for their interprofessional performance.
Methods:
a qualitative case study performed with Nasf-AB teams representative of four macro-regions of health of the state of Santa Catarina. Participation of 43 professionals, who answered collective interviews. The results were later submitted to thematic analysis.
Results:
the training is strongly influenced by the Biomedical Model, which acts as an obstacle to interprofessional performance, given the challenges in the daily routine of Nasf-AB professionals. Continuing education emerges as a potential for the successful collaborative work among teams, and between the teams and Family Health professionals.
Final considerations:
there are important limits in the training of professionals. However, the constant interprofessional development promoted by strategies of continuing education contributes to broaden the support and collaborative practices that qualify services and strengthen Basic Care.

Objectives:
to identify the dominant dimensions of the authentic leadership of nurses in a private hospital network and to verify the association with job satisfaction and accreditation.
Methods:
cross-sectional, analytical study carried out in 11 hospitals with 282 nurses, of which 94 were leaders and 188 were led. Participants answered the Authentic Leardership Questionnaire and the Job Satisfaction Survey.
Results:
there was a significant difference between the assessment of leaders and followers in all dimensions of the Authentic Leardership Questionnaire. Regarding the association of authentic leadership and job satisfaction, a significant positive moderate correlation was found among the employees. In hospitals accredited by the Joint Commission International, leaders were perceived as more transparent by their subordinates.
Conclusions:
there was correlation between authentic leadership and job satisfaction and authentic leadership and the accreditation model among the subordinates.
