Objective:
To analyze the configuration of power relations among the multiprofessional team in the bedside round process in the hospital.
Methods:
Qualitative research with data analyzed through discourse analysis, based on Michel Foucault’s theoretical framework. From September to December 2022, we conducted interviews and field observations with the multiprofessional team at a hospital in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, as well as qualitative, semi-structured interviews with 37 professionals.
Results:
The participants pointed out that the experiences of the professionals involved in bedside rounds depend on how the physician conducts the process, and the physician-centered process makes it difficult for other professionals in the team to participate.
Final considerations:
The way hospitals organize bedside rounds does not promote knowledge articulation for their professionals. It hinders the circulation of power and harms interdisciplinary work in a process that maintains the physician as the main actor in clinical decisions.

Objective:
Describe the activities aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), implemented by a polytechnic higher education institution, in the northern region of Portugal.
Methods:
This is an experience report from a Higher Education Institution, which characterizes the contribution to the SDGs, within the scope of teaching, research, campus and leadership.
Results:
In total, 1247 activities were mapped, with a preponderance in the “people” dimension (685 activities), with SDG 3 being the most prominent. Scientific articles contribute significantly to the SDGs, with a notable discrepancy between automatic (Scopus) and manual classifications, indicating a tendency to underestimate the impact of nursing studies.
Conclusion:
The results demonstrate the significant contribution of this institution to the SDGs, with a special focus on health and education. This contribution reflects the mission of the institution, which involves training competent and socially conscious health professionals, but simultaneously the need for greater awareness and training of the teaching staff.

Objective:
To investigate the forms of coping used to relieve tensions by elderly caregivers of elderly relatives and to know the type of support they receive from the Primary Health Care service at home.
Method:
A qualitative study with a theoretical-methodological contribution of Grounded Theory, carried out with 10 elderly caregivers interviewed between August 2014 and January 2015.
Results:
Participants use primarily religious coping to deal with adverse situations that arise in their lives; they attribute to the sacred the strength to continue to age and care for another elderly person at home. Religiousness was the main coping strategy used by the participants, but little recognized by the health service.
Final considerations:
It is recommended that the Primary Health Care service provide greater support to these caregivers and be attentive to the spiritual dimension as an auxiliary element in the process of comprehensive and inclusive health care of these elderly caregivers.
