Objective:
to analyze the spatial-temporal pattern of childbirths and flow of postpartum women assisted at a regional reference maternity hospital.
Methods:
ecological study of 4,081 childbirths, between September 2018 and December 2021, at a public maternity hospital in the Baixo Tocantins region, Pará, Brazil. With data collected from five sources, a geographic database was constructed, and spatial analysis was used with Kernel density interpolator. Maps were generated using QGis/3.5 and TerraView/4.3, calculating chi-square (p<0.05).
Results:
the highest concentrations of normal and cesarean childbirths were observed in Barcarena (n=2,558/62.68%), Abaetetuba (n=750/18.38%), Moju (n=363/8.89%) and Igarapé-Miri (n=219/5.37%). Among the municipalities in the region, ten had obstetric beds, totaling 210 beds. In this scenario, postpartum women traveled up to 288 km to reach the maternity hospital.
Conclusions:
long distances between certain municipalities of residence and maternity hospital, and low supply of obstetric beds, were identified as risk factors for unfavorable obstetric outcomes.

Objectives:
to estimate the prevalence of depressive levels and their associated factors among transvestite and transsexual individuals.
Methods:
this cross-sectional study involved 58 participants assisted by non-governmental organizations. The Beck Depression Inventory was utilized to assess levels of depression, complemented by a sociodemographic questionnaire and a questionnaire on experiences of violence. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Poisson regression with robust variance.
Results:
a prevalence of 27.6% (95% CI = 11.50-39.10) for moderate to severe levels of depression was observed. This prevalence was associated with being unmarried (PR = 1.19; 95% CI = 1.10-1.28) and experiencing violence in healthcare services (PR = 2.30; 95% CI = 1.10-4.81).
Conclusions:
the absence of a partner and experiences of violence in healthcare settings negatively impacted mental health, leading to an increased prevalence of depressive symptoms among transvestite and transsexual individuals. Advocating for transgender rights and providing ongoing education in health care for professionals are critical strategies in promoting the mental health of this population.

Objectives:
to analyze the repercussions of violence against nursing professionals, in the access and safety of patients in Family Health Strategy.
Methods:
a mixed study, with 169 nursing professionals. We used a socio-labor questionnaire, Survey Questionnaire Workplace Violence in the Health Sector, a patient safety instrument and interviews.
Results:
verbal aggression was related to support (p=0.048), respect (p=0.021), hours of care (p=0.047) and patient safety behaviors (p=0.033) among professionals. Suffering from bullying was related to fear of questioning when something is wrong (p=0.010) and lack of support from management (p=0.016). Victims of physical violence felt that their mistakes could be used against them. Mixed data converge and confirm that violence affects professional behavior and puts Primary Health Care attributes at risk.
Conclusions:
violence affects workers’ behavior, interferes with the care provided, weakens the access and safety of patients.

Objectives:
to synthesize the evidence on intravenous device labeling used to identify medications administered to patients in Intensive Care Units, with a view to preventing medication errors.
Methods:
an integrative review, in the LILACS, IBECS, Embase, MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science and CINAHL databases, from November to December 2021, using descriptors and selection criteria. Data were collected in 11 articles and subsequently classified, summarized and aggregated.
Results:
pre-designed labels, with pre-defined colors and information, help to prevent medication identification errors. There is still a lack of standardization in the practice of labeling syringes, intravenous lines, infusion pumps and saline solution bags. There are errors related to the lack of labeling devices or to their performance with incomplete information.
Conclusions:
device labeling is a barrier to defending the medication system safety and should be standardized.
