Objective:
to relate the creation, experience of establishment and service performed in the Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Program [(PRAP)], a project of the School of Nursing of University of Campinas (UNICAMP), developed at a health unity in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil.
Results:
this Program appeared due to the high demand of patients with urinary incontinence (UI) and need of formation or qualification of professionals to serve those customers and multiply the actions at other health unities. Nowadays, the PRAP is in its tenth year, and it has served 102 patients with UI and other dysfunctions of the pelvic floor and lower urinary tract, qualified 480 health professionals and stimulated researches.
Conclusion:
the preventive actions of pelvic floor rehabilitation are important areas of the nurse’s performance and initiatives as the related ones contribute for the professional formation and practice based on evidences.

Objective:
to identify evidences from the literature on the application of nursing process in care developed by the nurse in mental health.
Method:
integrative literature review between 1990 and 2013, in the PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL and LILCACS bases. Descriptors: nursing processes, mental health, nursing care.
Results:
19 papers were identified. Limited and partial usage of the nursing process in care established by a therapeutic relationship that respects the patient’s individuality. We observe care proposals systematized for patients that present pathological aspects in the limits between the physical and psychical, which might be a response to the influence of the practice based on evidences.
Conclusion:
it was found an antagonistic movement between care based on the relationship and located in the standardization of diagnoses that respond to physical malaise. A lack of evidence was verified for the usage of the nursing process in mental health, and we point at the necessity for the creation of new possibilities for dialogue between relational and biological perspectives.

Objective:
analyze scientific production on nursing practice in home care.
Method:
integrative review employing databases LILACS, BDENF, IBECS, and MEDLINE. Studies in Spanish, English, and Portuguese were included, regardless of publishing date.
Results:
after analyzing 48 articles, it was found that nursing practice in home care is complex, employing a multitude of actions by using three technologies: soft; soft-hard especially; and hard. Challenges related to the home-care training process are reported in the literature. Nurses use knowledge from their experience and scientific recommendations in conjunction with their reflections on the practice.
Conclusion:
home nursing practice is fundamental and widespread. Relational and educational actions stand out as necessary even in technical care, with a predominant need for home-care training.

Objective:
to identify articles that assessed the effectiveness or efficacy of nonpharmacological interventions to improve quality of life of people with heart failure in the literature.
Method:
an integrative literature review was performed in Lilacs, MedLine and SciELO databases, including randomized or nonrandomized clinical trials and quasi-experimental studies published between 2003 and 2014, in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
Results:
twenty-three studies were included. The categories of nonpharmacological interventions that improved quality of life of people with heart failure were: Remote health monitoring, Instructions on health practices, Physical activity follow-up and Traditional Chinese Medicine practices.
Conclusion:
these results can guide the selection of interventions to be implemented by health professionals that treat people with heart failure. Future systematic reviews with meta-analyses are needed in order to identify the most effective interventions for improving these individuals’ quality of life.

The data were collected using the instrument observation sheet and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Early ambulation used standard operational procedure in the hospital and dhikr therapy was carried out at 2 hours post-operation for 10-15 minutes.
Results:
there was an effect of early ambulation and dhikr therapy on intestinal peristaltic recovery in post-open cholecystectomy patients with general anesthesia (Z=-3.442; p=0.001).
Conclusions:

Methods:
methodological research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected between June and October 2022, in 25 Basic Health Units, with 41 nurses interviewed individually. Thematic content analysis was carried out to guide technology elaboration.
Results:
three empirical categories were organized, demonstrating the facilities and difficulties in tuberculosis management, the conceptions about educational technology as a facilitator of the teaching-learning process in Primary Health Care and participatory development of technology. Nurses were in favor of constructing an instructional guide technology, and made suggestions to encourage its creation and use in daily service routine.
Final considerations:
the participatory process made it possible to create technology to assist nurses in the teaching-learning process in Primary Health Care about caring for people with tuberculosis.

Objectives:
to discuss the (in)visibility of children with special healthcare needs and their families in the Primary Health Care scenario.
Methods:
experience report about the difficulties faced by researchers from different regions of Brazil to locate children with special healthcare needs in the scope of primary care.
Results:
the main reason for these children and their families to be “unknown” and, therefore, not assisted in PHC, is the fact that they are followed-up by institutions/outpatient clinics and specialized and/or public rehabilitation clinics, or even because they have private health insurance.
Final Considerations:
transferring care responsibility to the Primary Health Care teams to specialized and rehabilitation institutions may be related to the lack of knowledge of the care demands of this group, as well as to the relevance of care centered on rehabilitation and the specialty instead of the long-term care, one of the features of primary health care.

Objectives:
to analyze the available evidence on the nursing care provided to patients after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Methods:
integrative review with the search for primary studies in four databases and a virtual health library. A broad search strategy was used, including research published in English, Brazilian Portuguese, or Spanish, between 2008 and 2018, totaling a sample of 42 studies.
Results:
the studies were grouped into three categories: multiple nursing care (n=19), first-line care (n=18), and self-management of care (n=5).
Conclusions:
nursing care is critical, comprising patients’ physical, psychological and social aspects. It occurs in hospital and home contexts, mainly involving technical actions and health guidance. The evidence identified provide subsidies for decision-making; however, most studies are of the non-experimental type, indicating the need for conducting intervention research.

Objectives:
to map advanced practice nursing actions implemented in the Family Health Strategy context.
Methods:
cross-sectional exploratory study carried out with Family Health Strategy nurses. Data obtained in the mapping were compared to the characteristics that define advanced practice nurses and are adopted internationally by using a checklist based on the International Council of Nurses Guidelines.
Results:
the mapping allowed to identify advanced practice nursing actions, such as advanced assessment, judgement, decision-making, and diagnostic reasoning skills and authority to diagnose and prescribe medications, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic treatments. However, evidence found in the educational preparation domain indicated evident fragility, expressed as the low percentage of nurses credentialed with a professional master’s degree.
Conclusions:
the present study showed that nurses in the Family Health Strategy carry out advanced practice nursing actions without the professional master’s degree recommended for credentialing, with pertinent legislation, which requires initiatives to be taken by nursing leaders to overcome this deficiency.
