Objectives:
to map studies that analyze the audit process of nursing councils.
Methods:
this is a scoping review, anchored in the JBI framework, with the guiding question: what is the evidence of the audit process of legal practice of nursing by class councils (COFEN/COREN system)? The searches were carried out in October and November 2022 without limitation of language and year.
Results:
of the 9 selected studies, all are Brazilian and published from 2014 onwards. Among the topics addressed are the role, challenges, costs and difficulties in nurse auditors’ daily work process, in addition to the contribution of the audit sector in Brazil.
Conclusions:
the studies gathered discuss aspects related to costs, challenges and difficulties, but there is no focus on corrective, disciplinary and educational activities as well as little is said about the audit process, its reporting, referral and outcomes.

Objectives:
to reflect on the impacts of the General Personal Data Protection Law on Nursing practice.
Methods:
reflection article, through the intentional collection of materials relating to the topic.
Results:
legislation regulates confidentiality, processing and data sharing, requiring institutional protection measures. The nursing team is responsible for acting preventively, both in care and in the management role, in order to avoid the misuse of the patient’s personal data. The law allows academic research to be carried out as long as the purpose is clear, data collection occurs with an explicit purpose and data is anonymized.
Final Considerations:
although the General Personal Data Protection Law requires greater care in relation to data processing, it is established on precepts of good faith and respect for the rights of the individual, concepts aligned with the nursing code of ethics.

Objectives:
to analyze the implications of precarious work for the organization of work and for the health of nursing professionals in a surgical center.
Methods:
qualitative, descriptive study in which the interview technique was applied on 30 nursing professionals from a surgical center in a university hospital located in the Southeast region of Brazil. The project was approved by the research ethics committee. Thematic content analysis was applied in the categorization of speeches.
Results:
precarious work in the surgical center negatively affects the organization of work due to staff turnover, loss of skilled talent, and the need for continuous training of temporary workers. It also affects the quality of care, leading to risks to patient safety and workers’ health.Final Considerations: it is important to make work conditions less precarious in order to minimize staff turnover and promote the quality of the service offered and the health of the worker.

Objectives:
to identify and characterize the care provided to adolescents admitted to an emergency department due to a suicide attempt.
Methods:
an observational, cross-sectional, descriptive study with a retrospective approach, carried out with medical records of adolescents aged 10 to 19 admitted for suicide attempts, between January 2015 and July 2020, in an emergency department. Data were subjected to descriptive and inferential analysis.
Results:
eighty-eight service occurrences were identified, mainly to females, exposed to multiple risk factors. Exogenous intoxication was the main method used, occurring at home and on weekdays. There were systemic repercussions, requiring multiple interventions and hospitalizations. Only 26% of cases were notified.
Conclusions:
adolescents treated for suicide attempts were exposed to multiple risk factors, with intoxication as the main means used. There is concern about the underreporting of cases and the logic of clinical care and medicalization.

Objectives:
to analyze the path taken by family caregivers of preschool children who survived leukemia and discuss the implications for primary healthcare nursing.
Methods:
the narrative interview guided by a talking map and body knowledge was used with family members of children who survived leukemia, living in Rio de Janeiro (capital) and São Paulo (countryside). Conversation analysis was applied to the data.
Results:
five family groups (seven people) of five children started their journey in the professional subsystem of private services; four were assisted in the private sector since the onset of the illness; one was assisted in public and private services. Living conditions reduced barriers to accessing supplementary health, facilitating coordination, and listening to a reference professional.
Final Considerations:
the itinerary was marked by attentive listening to family caregivers by reference professionals, favoring early diagnosis, initiation of treatment, and resolution of leukemia with the cure of children.

Objectives:
to analyze the trend, according to sex, of Ambulatory Care-Sensitive Conditions in the Primary Health Care of the Federal District, from 2009 to 2019.
Methods:
ecological trend study using ACSC hospitalization data available in the Hospitalization System of the Single Health System. The Prais-Winsten method was used to calculate the annual rate variation, expressed in percentages. The dependent variable was the logarithm of the rates, and the independent one, the years in the time series.
Results:
the Federal District registered 2,103,951 general hospitalizations, 16.4% of which were due to Ambulatory Care-Sensitive Conditions. Males had a higher rate of hospitalization in the period, and both sexes showed a stationary trend.
Conclusions:
the time trend of Ambulatory Care- Sensitive Conditions was stationary, but further studies are necessary regarding primary health care coverage.

Objectives:
to develop interactive gerontechnology for the prevention of falls in the elderly at home.
Methods:
an exploratory and descriptive study that consisted of gerontechnology development and evaluation by experts and the target audience. For evaluation, researchers used the Agreement Index (AI), considering values greater than 80%.
Results:
the three-dimensional virtual scale model was elaborated through the SketchUp program, with the distribution of rooms and floors, constituting Prototype 1 (P1). Fifty-four judges evaluated the P1, and all presented agreement above the established, with a minimum AI of 88% and a maximum of 100%, producing Prototype 2 (P2). Thirty elderly participants from a philanthropic institution evaluated Prototype 2. On all items, AI ranged from 83% a 100%, resulting in the final version.
Conclusions:
the product of this research reveals itself as an innovative and scientifically based tool aimed at preventing falls in the elderly.

Results:
spiritual care were dialogue, encouragement and respect for religious activities, embracement, empathy. One of the obstacles to providing this care was the lack of preparation in accessing the elderly’s spiritual dimension.
Final considerations:
spirituality is a dimension of human and holistic nursing care. Caring for the spirit contributes to foster transpersonal care. The difficulty may be in the lack of nurses’ preparation. It is necessary that they cultivate and live their own spirituality, transmitting the understanding in each care relationship.

Objective:
present and discuss the potential use of the concept of vulnerability for the development of practices to address violence against children.
Method:
this is a theoretical study that presents the characteristics of the phenomenon of violence against children, to which the concept of vulnerability is applied.
Results:
proposal of a framework for the analysis of violence against children in the perspective of vulnerability, creating individual and collective dimensions. Violence against children, when analyzed in the perspective of this concept, broadens the understanding of this phenomenon, as it exposes aspects and conditions from outside the family that are co-responsible for the occurrence of this phenomenon.
Conclusion:
developing studies to identify the vulnerability of children to violence is essential for the development of practices to address this issue.

Objective:
To translate and adapt the eHealth Literacy Scale for the cultural reality of Brazil and to evaluate the psychometric properties of its Brazilian Portuguese version.
Methods:
The instrument was translated and adapted to Brazilian Portuguese and applied to a sample of 502 individuals from 18 to 80 years old who lived in the surrounding areas of six Family Health Units of a city in the countryside of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The data was evaluated using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, item response theory, and instrument reliability measures (Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega).
Results:
The eHealth Literacy Scale – Brazilian version (eHEALS-Br) presented an excellent internal consistency (α = 0.95 e ω = 0.95), with only one dimension and an explained variation of 81.79%.
Conclusions:
The Brazilian version of the instrument showed excellent psychometric properties to measure the levels of digital health literacy in adults from the country.

Objectives:
to report the user experience of the webQDA software in the support of qualitative data analysis about health literacy of older adults.
Methods:
quasi-experimental research developed from January 2014 to January 2015, with 118 older adults, all of whom were interviewed to assess the level of health literacy. Interviews were carried out before and after four educational interventions, according to Freire’s method named Culture Circle. The interviews were transcribed and entered in the software, which highlighted the analytical categories.
Results:
the systems of sources, interpretative encoding and questioning of the data available in the software allowed the construction of three categories for the literacy levels and four categories for their dimensions.
Final considerations:
We concluded that the webQDA software enables the structured encoding of qualitative materials, ensuring faster and effective management of data with systematization and analytical transparency.

Objective:
To verify the effectiveness of the educational intervention through the evaluation of nurses’ knowledge about prevention of pressure injury.
Method:
A quasi-experimental study with a single group, carried out with 95 nurses from a teaching hospital in the interior of Minas Gerais, in August and September 2017. As a teaching strategy, the active methodology and hybrid teaching were used, based on the reference of the Method of the Arch of Charles Maguerez. Data were collected from a validated instrument, called the Pieper Knowledge Test, and analyzed by descriptive statistics and Student’s t-test with significance level of p <0.001.
Results:
The mean number of correct answers obtained by the nurses was 78.8% in the pre-test and 88.8% in the post-test, and the difference was statistically significant (p <0.001).
Conclusion:
The educational intervention developed was effective, since it contributed to the improvement of nurses’ knowledge.

Objectives:
to compare the metabolic, anthropometric, tobacco and alcohol consumption indicators considered as risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, as well as the demographic and socioeconomic characteristics between indigenous from Rio Negro, Sateré-Mawé, mixed-race/black and white people living in the city of Manaus.
Methods:
a cross-sectional observational study guided by the STROBE tool. There was a sample of 191 adults of both sexes. Anthropometric measurements, blood pressure and biochemical analyzes were performed. Statistical test was applied to cross color/race/ethnicity variable with the investigated variables.
Results:
indigenous had better metabolic and anthropometric indicators related to cardiovascular diseases than mixed-race/black and white, as well as Sateré-Mawé in relation to Rionegrinos (from Rio Negro).
Conclusions:
the main differences were obesity, dyslipidemia, pre-systemic arterial hypertension/systemic arterial hypertension, and increased circumferences, with a worse situation for mixed-race/black people. The findings indicate differences in risk factors between race/color and ethnicity groups evaluated.

Objective:
To analyze the practices developed by nursing professionals in a Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS).
Method:
A qualitative and evaluative research based on the Fourth Generation Assessment and conducted in a CAPS II of Santa Catarina State in 2014. For data collection, semi-structured interviews, field observation, and data recycling group were used with workers. Constant Comparative Method was used for data analysis.
Results:
Practices aimed at the subject and their clinical, social, prevention, treatment and articulation with the health network were identified. Medication care is a specificity of nursing that aims to promote autonomy and social reintegration. There is a need for greater articulation between the nursing and pharmacy staff, as well as creating spaces for users to talk about medication.
Conclusion:
Nursing practices are focused on biopsychosocial care, aiming to deconstruct care models focused on the disease and symptoms.
