Objective:
to develop and validate a short guide for the protocol to user embracement with risk classification in pediatrics.
Method:
methodological study developed in two stages: development of the guide, and face and content validation. The development involved the stratification of the protocol contents into five risk indicators according to the level of complexity; subsequently it was submitted to validation by nine experts divided in two groups: professors who were also researchers, and nurses.
Results:
in the face validation the experts considered the 25 items of the guide clear and understandable, with agreement levels above 70%. In the content validation, 17 (68%) items were considered relevant by 88.9% of the experts. The eight items considered irrelevant were changed according to suggestions of the experts, yielding an overall content validity index of 0.98.
Conclusion:
the study resulted in a guide for the classification of risks in pediatrics that is valid to assess children in emergency services.

Objective:
to identify key components of the social learning theory in a computational tool to aid in teaching the reasoning process for the preparation of a nursing diagnosis.
Method:
qualitative study that analyzed the statements collected through a focus group of 18 teachers and students from two Brazilian nursing schools.
Results:
the themes were grouped into four categories related to the components of the theory and into 13 subcategories.
Conclusion:
the meaning of learning can be extended by the teacher’s didactics and corroborated by the relationship between systematization and reasoning. To learn by doing, some prerequisites are required as is a process of motivation and qualification, which are also inherent to learning by forming an identity in the group. In the feeling of belonging to a particular group, aspects related to the profession become visible as opposed to the aspects of belonging to a community of practice of learning.

Objective:
To investigate working conditions in nursing when facing the Covid-19 pandemic, in light of aspects of precarious work.
Methods:
Cross-sectional study, with 131 nursing workers who worked against Covid-19 in hospitals in Alagoas State, Northeast Brazil. Data were collected online, using a workers’ health assessment questionnaire. The Chi -Square or Fisher’s Exact test and logistic regression were used.
Results:
among nursing workers, 71% had precarious contracts, 33.6% reported extended working hours and 23.7% were union members. In the multivariable analysis, having little hospital experience was a predictor for poor employment (OR= 2.408; 95%CI= 1.051-5.518). The predictor variables for lengthening the working day were being a nurse (OR= 3.824; 95%CI= 1.274-11.483); overtime (OR= 3.668; 95%CI= 1.009-13.333) and inadequate number of workers (OR= 10.872; 95%CI= 3.409-34.675). Being a nursing technician was a predictor of being a union member (OR= 8.967; 95%CI=2.560-31.410).
Conclusions:
The pandemic has accentuated the precariousness of working conditions in nursing professionals, especially among nurses.

Objectives:
to validate the internal structure of the Hospital Resources Assessment Scale for the Preservation of Urinary Continence in the Elderly.
Methods:
validation study of the internal structure of a scale constructed based on the Donabedian conceptual model and an integrative review, with prior content validation. The scale was applied to the target population, and 124 nurses responded to the questionnaire. Exploratory Factor Analysis was performed using the FACTOR software, employing multiple techniques.
Results:
a factorial model with 11 items organized into two dimensions (support for human resources and material resources) was obtained. The “physical structure” dimension was removed from the initial model and adopted as a complementary checklist to the instrument, as it was not possible to obtain a factorable model with this dimension.
Conclusions:
we provide a valid scale that can measure indicators, identifying weaknesses and/or strengths related to hospital resources for the preservation of urinary continence in the elderly.

Objectives:
to synthesize scientific evidence on vaccine hesitancy in children under five years of age and its associated factors.
Methods:
a scoping review, conducted according to the methodological structure proposed by the JBI. Searches were carried out in the Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information, Scientific Electronic Library Online and PubMed databases, including gray literature. Studies in English, Spanish and Portuguese were included, without temporal delimitation. Editorials, studies that did not address vaccine hesitancy in children under five years of age and were not aligned with the objective and research question were excluded. The sample consisted of 18 articles.
Results:
misinformation, concern about adverse effects, distrust about efficacy, affliction regarding administration simultaneously, and insecurity in relation to the laboratories were the reported reasons.
Conclusions:
strategies are needed to combat the lack of information about immunobiological agents, as misinformation was the main factor in parents’ vaccine hesitation.

Objectives:
to elaborate an ICNP® terminological subset for people with diabetic foot ulcers in Primary Health Care.
Methods:
this is a methodological study that followed five steps: 1) Identification of relevant terms for the patients through an integrative literature review and official documents in the area; 2) Mapping of terms identified with ICNP® terms; 3) Construction of statements of nursing diagnoses, outcomes and interventions; 4) Structuring of a terminological subset with the Self-Care Deficit Theory; and 5) Content validity of statements constructed with nurses from a programmatic area in Rio de Janeiro.
Results:
the subset developed is composed of 81 diagnoses/outcomes and 583 nursing interventions, organized into universal, change and development requirements.
Conclusions:
the subset on screen was predominantly composed of statements inserted in self-care requirements related to health changes, reinforcing the importance of quality of life and recovery.
