Objectives:
to report the experience of conducting phenomenological interviews through virtual means in a group of older adults during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods:
an experience report on the main aspects that the researchers experienced in the virtual phenomenological interview process as an alternative to face-to-face interviews with older adults during social isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Results:
the experience of conducting phenomenological interviews by videoconference was useful, enriching and satisfying. The difficulties that arose were smaller in relation to the benefits of the technique.
Final Considerations:
the use of technology to optimize qualitative data collection is a recommended strategy that can be adopted by nursing whenever the research objectives allow.

Objectives:
to describe sociodemographic and health characteristics of older adults with morbidity, identify self-care practices and verify the association of sociodemographic variables with those related to health and self-care practices.
Methods:
a quantitative, analytical and cross-sectional household survey, developed in the urban area in the countryside of Minas Gerais, from 2017 to 2018. A total of 796 older adults were assessed using validated instruments, such as Geriatric Depression Scale: short form, Brazilian Questionnaire for Functional and Multidimensional Assessment, International Physical Activity Questionnaire, Instrument for Assessing Attitude Towards Taking Medications. Multiple logistic regression (p<0.05) was used.
Results:
negative self-perceived health was associated with low income and education. As for self-care in health, being physically active associated with the age group 60 |-| 79 years and higher education.
Conclusions:
sociodemographic variables such as sex, age group, income, education, marital status, housing arrangement were related to health status and self-care practice.

Objectives:
to synthesize evidence from qualitative studies about the implications that the deprivation of liberty process has on incarcerated adults’ family relationships.
Methods:
a qualitative meta-synthesis, carried out in January 2021, by searching for publications indexed in six databases. The sample consisted of 10 studies, which were analyzed by MaxQDA®, and an interpretative synthesis was performed based on Attachment Theory.
Results:
based on first-order concepts, it was possible to synthesize second- and third-order concepts and present them in two interpretive context units: Strategies for strengthening family ties; Relationships that contribute to breaking down family ties. It was evidenced that visits, phone calls and letters favor the strengthening of secure attachment.
Final Considerations:
incarceration causes consequences in tie formation, reflecting on the attachment process between family members.

Objectives:
to identify the incidence of pressure wound in critical patients and its associated factors.
Methods:
retrospective cohort study, based on the analysis of 369 critical patients’ records. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used, as well as logistic regression.
Results:
the incidence of pressure wounds was 11.4%. Patients who had been hospitalized for four days or more (OR 2.99; CI95% 1.15-7.78), used nasoenteric tubes (OR: 3.81; CI95%: 1.4010.38), vesical drainage catheters (OR: 4.78; CI95%: 1.31-17.38) and tracheostomy (OR: 3.64; CI95%: 1.48-8.97) had a higher chance of developing pressure wounds. The mean score of the Braden scale among participants who developed (14.2 points) pressure wounds was statistically different (p<0.001) than that of those who did not (12.3 points).
Conclusions:
the incidence of pressure wounds was associated with a higher time in the unit, the use of nasoenteric tubes, vesical drainage catheters, and tracheostomies were associated with a higher time of hospitalization in the unit.
