Objective:
To understand the meaning attributed by women with physical disabilities to the health care received and expected during labor and delivery.
Methods:
Qualitative study, based on Social Network Theory, conducted through an online workshop in April 2022, with the participation of six women with physical disabilities. Data, collected through the focus group technique, underwent thematic content analysis with the assistance of the IRaMuTeQ tool.
Results:
Three thematic categories emerged: Challenges experienced during pregnancy; The experience within the maternity ward; and, The importance of social networks. The assistance provided by healthcare professionals sometimes differed between what was expected and what was received by women with physical disabilities during labor and delivery.
Final Considerations:
Experiences were predominantly negative, resulting from inappropriate professional conduct due to ableist attitudes. Support from members of social networks is crucial for preventing stressors.

Visualizações1RESUMEN

Objectives:
to carry out the cultural adaptation and evaluation of validity evidence of the Student Nurse Stressor-15 (SNS-15) Scale for use in Brazil.
Methods:
psychometric study, conducted from the stages of translation, synthesis, back-translation, review by a committee of seven experts, pre-test and evaluation of measurement properties with 32 and 238 nursing students, respectively. Descriptive statistics, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were performed. The reliability of the instrument was estimated using McDonald’s Omega (ω).
Results:
EFA subsidized the distribution of the fifteen SNS-15 items into four factors. Using AFC, satisfactory fit indices were achieved (Comparative Fit Index = 0.94; Tucker-Lewis Index = 0.93; Root Mean Square Error of Approximation = 0.06; Standardized Root Mean Square Residual = 0.16) and ω = 0.86.
Conclusions:
the Brazilian version of the SNS-15 presents evidence that confirms its validity and reliability.

Objectives:
to psychometrically validate the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Core Quality of Life Questionnaire EORTC QLQ-INFO25 instrument and identify the domains that influence patients’ perception of the information received.
Methods:
a cross-sectional methodology with cancer patients in a Brazilian philanthropic hospital institution. Sociodemographic and clinical instruments, EORTC QLQ-C30, EORTC QLQ-INFO25 and Supportive Care Needs Survey – Short Form 34 were used. Analysis occurred using Cronbach’s alpha coefficients, intraclass correlation, test-retest and exploratory factor analysis.
Results:
128 respondents participated. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.85. The test-retest obtained p-value=0.21. In the factor analysis, one item was excluded. Satisfaction with the information received was 74%, with three areas with averages below 70%. In open-ended questions, there was a greater desire for information.
Conclusions:
validity evidence was obtained with instrument reliability, consistency and stability. Respondents expressed satisfaction with the information received.

Results:
“Sickle cell disease and COVID-19: essential care” included: consequences of COVID-19 in sickle cell disease, guidelines for reducing the risks of contracting the virus and having complications, signs and symptoms of COVID-19, guidelines in case of child/adolescent with suspicion or symptoms of COVID-19. Global content validity coefficient (Delphi II): 0.98.
Conclusion:

Objectives:
to validate nursing care effectiveness indicators of patient safety dimension.
Methods:
quantitative survey, using the electronic Delphi sampli, with 52 participants selected by the Snowball sampling. Eight indicators were evaluated regarding the attributes: availability, reliability, simplicity, representativeness, sensitivity, comprehensiveness, objectivity, cost, utility, stability and timeliness. For validation, the minimum agreement criterion was 70%.
Results:
Cronbach’s alpha (0.942) evidenced the high internal consistency among the attributes. The indicators fall with damage, hip fracture, and postoperative hip fracture, incidents related to equipment, incidents due to failures in patient identification, and pressure injury were validated in all attributes, and those of medication error and hand Hygiene were not validated.
Conclusions:
the validated indicators allow assessment of the effectiveness of hospital nursing care. Unavailability of data is an obstacle to monitoring patient safety.

Objective:
to analyze the perception of nurses and other members of the patient care team about nurses’ actions in mental health care.
Methods:
the study was conducted with professionals from mental health services in the interior of the state of São Paulo. The data collected through semi-structured interviews, a questionnaire with closed questions and a focus group were submitted to content analysis.
Results:
the participants referred mainly to the nursing care with the body and physical health, but also identified the nurse as a “gateway” for care, facilitator and integrator of actions and as the professional who has more contact with the user.
