Objectives:
to develop a responsive website focused on treatment adherence for adult users living with HIV.
Methods:
technological study conducted between August and October 2020, in the light of Pierre Lévy’s theoretical-philosophical framework, using the Double Diamond Process methodology associated with the five stages of The Elements of User Experience framework.
Results:
it was developed the responsive website Positive Care (Positive o Cuidado), composed of an initial presentation screen and 13 other screens named: Family Health and You; Undetectable = Untransmissible; Antiretroviral Drugs; Routine Tests; Vaccination; Antiretroviral Delivery; Drug Interactions; Combined Prevention; Support Services; Healthy Life; Family and Reproductive Planning; Covid 19; and Questions, Curiosities, and Myths.
Final Considerations:
the responsive website was developed based on the software design and programming process and has requirements/functionalities with the potential to strengthen the collective intelligence about HIV and, consequently, to promote treatment adherence by its users.

Objectives:
to describe a technological innovation in the development of an individual, ergonomic, sustainable and effective occupational respiratory protection mask for workers exposed to surgical smoke.
Methods:
applied, exploratory, quantitative research, using design methods and tools: Sense Intent, Know Context, Know People, Frame Insights, Explore Concepts, Frame Solutions, Realize Offerings, in addition to the Product Development Process tools. It was developed from March 2019 to December 2021.
Results:
from the prototyping mold, it became possible to represent the abstract to the physical, where all the concepts created in the methodological steps were implemented and the necessary adjustments were made to create the model as a technological innovation, which will have the concept for product commercialization.
Conclusions:
a mask for protection against surgical smoke (HeLP) was developed, from the design step to the prototype development, being a technological innovation.

Objectives:
to evaluate the measurement properties of the Advanced Practice Nursing Competency Assessment Instrument – Brazilian version, in the hospital environment.
Methods:
a methodological study conducted in a hospital with 238 nurses. Three instruments collect the data: sample characterization form, Brazilian version of the Advanced Practice Nursing Competency Assessment Instrument, and the category “therapeutic interventions” of the nurse competence scale. Construct validity was verified by confirmatory factor analysis and Spearman’s correlation coefficient, and reliability by Cronbach’s Alpha and composite reliability.
Results:
in the factor analysis, the model converged to a satisfactory result. The study found acceptable evidence of reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha, 0.76-0.87; and composite reliability, 0.85-0.90).
Conclusions:
the instrument demonstrated evidence of construct validity and internal consistency and can be used in practice

Objectives:
to analyze the factors that can impact patients’ experience concerning safety-related measures in the hospital setting.
Methods:
this qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory study was conducted with patients and their family members at a hospital in southern Brazil. Semi-structured interviews were carried out using the Critical Incident Technique between January and February 2022. The collected data underwent content analysis with the assistance of IRaMuTeQ software.
Results:
five patients, four family members, and three patient-family units participated in the study. The following categories emerged: “Patientprofessional interaction as a component of safe care,” “Recognition of safety protocols in the patient’s experience,” and “Safe care and the challenges in hospital care.”
Conclusions:
patient-professional interaction, communication, awareness of safety protocols, and the availability of the nursing team are factors that influence patients’ experience regarding the safety of their care during hospitalization.

Objective:
To analyze spirituality in the process of illness uncertainty in cancer patients.
Methods:
This is a qualitative study, in which Merle Mishel’s Theory of Uncertainty of Disease was used as a theoretical framework; and as a methodological reference, the stages of Bardin’s Content Analysis. As a technique for obtaining information, a semi-structured interview was used.
Results:
Spirituality in the uncertainty of the disease varies from patient to patient and acts in a unique way. They presented readaptation attitudes in their reports. The presence of spirituality in their lives acted as the main force mechanism to deal with the uncertainty of the disease, and this moment was called by Mishel “probabilistic thinking”.
Conclusion:
Patients demonstrated readaptation attitudes in their reports, and spirituality acted as the main mechanism of strength to deal with uncertainty in the disease

Objective:
to know the multidisciplinary team’s perspective about the health care of people with tuberculosis and human immunodeficiency virus co-infection in relation to treatment.
Methods:
this is a descriptive-exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, carried out in a health care service in São Paulo, from May to June 2019. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with nine professionals from the multidisciplinary team. Data were processed through discourse analysis with the support of webQDA.
Results:
Two empirical categories emerged: Health care interfaces for people with tuberculosis and human immunodeficiency virus co-infection; Barriers and facilitators for health care for people with co-infection.
Final considerations:
the health-disease process in co-infection is mediated by conditions that positively or negatively interfere with treatment compliance. People’s health care goes beyond exclusively clinical assistance and requires the recognition of needs in a broad perspective.

Objective:
To investigate the independent and combined effects of lifestyle behaviors, including physical activity, sedentary behavior, sleep duration and food intake, in the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of Brazilian adolescents.
Methods:
Cross-sectional school-based study, with the participation of 306 adolescents aged 14 to 18 years. A questionnaire was applied with structured questions to collect lifestyle behaviors data. Perception of the HRQoL was identified using the Kidscreen-27. The study used covariance analysis and linear regression models for statistical analysis.
Results:
Adolescents who reported ≤ 2 hours/day of screen-based sedentary behavior and sleep duration equivalent to 8-10 hours/night presented significantly higher HRQoL. Adolescents who reported joint adherence ≥ 3 healthy lifestyle behaviors demonstrated approximately two [OR=2.12] to three times [OR=3.04] more chance of presenting higher perceptions of HRQoL.
Conclusion:
Although healthy lifestyle behaviors had a positive independent effect on HRQoL, joint adherence to healthy behaviors enhances the cumulative effect.

Objectives:
to analyze films and documentaries about eating disorders from the last twenty years, identifying the way they approach the topic as well as their relevance for didactic use in teaching the health field.
Methods:
a descriptive study, whose data collection was carried out on the main streaming and video platforms, resulting in the survey of 60 media. Of these, only 25 had audio/subtitles in Portuguese (inclusion criteria). scientific relevance was analyzed considering psychopathological and epidemiological aspects of these disorders. A questionnaire about the plot, characters and descriptive data analysis were used.
Results:
most media were dramas about female teenagers who tried to conform to beauty stereotypes, whose symptoms portrayed converged with current medical diagnostic manuals.
Conclusions:
in practical terms, a classificatory list of 11 media was prepared that could be used as a teaching resource for teaching this topic in the health field.

Objectives:
to map the production of technologies aimed at monitoring falls in a hospital environment protected by registered patents.
Methods:
a technological prospecting of international patents, with a quantitative approach, with search carried out between February and March 2022 in the Derwent Innovations Index database with descriptors fall, hospital, monitoring.
Results:
212 patents were found, with the majority filed and published since 2010, by Tran B (9) and Cerner Innovation Inc (9), focused on health technology. Universities were responsible for 13% of deposits. There was a predominance of records from the United States (43.4%), China (21.7%) and Japan (12.3%), in addition to technological strategies classified as devices for the environment (80.7%) and for preventing falls (66.5%) as well as trend towards resources with multiple functionalities in the same technology.
Conclusions:
the plurality of functions in the same device reflects the search for optimizing resources and the concern with comprehensive care.

Objectives:
to map the scientific evidence related to the characteristics, themes, and outcomes of using health education podcasts aimed at individuals over 18 years of age in intra or extrahospital environments.
Methods:
a scoping review, based on the Joanna Briggs Institute method, conducted in 11 databases, including studies from 2004 to 2022.
Results:
11 studies were selected, categorized, highlighting the characteristics, evaluated outcomes, areas, and conditions of podcast application, indicating it as an effective tool for promoting behavioral change, health promotion, and social interaction, demonstrating its potential to improve well-being, quality of life, and user/client autonomy.
Conclusions:
the use of podcasts proves to be an effective, innovative, and low-cost tool, with a significant social impact, being effective for behavioral change, satisfaction, and social interaction. However, the lack of comprehensive studies on podcast development methodologies represents challenges to be overcome.

Objectives:
to analyze the role of nursing in the establishment of an HIV/AIDS Testing and Counseling Center in a Brazilian municipality.
Methods:
a historical study utilizing primary sources, including documents and oral accounts, involving a total of ten participants. The study encompasses the years 1997 and 1998. The research took place at the Testing and Counseling Center in São João de Meriti. Data was collected from March to May 2022.
Results:
nursing made significant contributions through the development of training initiatives led by nurses, who were also responsible for individual and group counseling, as well as HIV testing requests.
Final Considerations:
nursing played a crucial role in the center and in the management of Sexually Transmitted Infections, being involved in all stages of treatment in accordance with current public health policy.

Objectives:
to identify immersion use in hot water to relieve pain in newborns.
Methods:
an integrative literature review, carried out in the PubMed, VHL, EMBASE, Scopus, CINAHL, Cochrane and SciELO databases, with investigations in English, Spanish, French or Portuguese, published between 2002 and 2022. The Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS) and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) were used to answer the following question: what are the uses of hot water immersion in relieving pain in newborns?
Results:
nine studies were included, mainly Brazilian, experimental, with a predominance of strong and moderate levels of evidence. Hydrotherapy and bath use (immersion and bandaging) was observed, promising interventions in reducing pain scores, assessed using scales, physiological and endocrine parameters.
Conclusions:
hot water proved to be a promising non-pharmacological intervention in relieving pain in infants in different contexts.

Objetivos:
describir el perfil de los ancianos que acceden a internet para buscar información de salud e identificar los factores que pueden influir en las decisiones de los ancianos sobre su salud a partir de la información recopilada en línea.
Métodos:
391 ancianos respondieron a un cuestionario online sobre hábitos y satisfacción con la información de salud recogida en internet. El procesamiento de datos implicó regresión logística.
Resultados:
la educación superior reduce en un 44% la probabilidad de que un anciano siga las recomendaciones de salud en los sitios web. Sin embargo, las actividades sociales y la salud autopercibida aumentan la posibilidad de seguir las recomendaciones en un 83% y un 71%, respectivamente. La creencia de que internet promueve hábitos saludables aumenta 29,2 veces la probabilidad de que un anciano siga un consejo.
Consideraciones Finales:
conocer el perfil de los ancianos que utilizan internet puede ayudar a los profesionales a formular políticas públicas y construir buenas plataformas de información sobre salud y bienestar.

Objectives:
to carry out the cultural adaptation and evaluation of validity evidence of the Student Nurse Stressor-15 (SNS-15) Scale for use in Brazil.
Methods:
psychometric study, conducted from the stages of translation, synthesis, back-translation, review by a committee of seven experts, pre-test and evaluation of measurement properties with 32 and 238 nursing students, respectively. Descriptive statistics, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were performed. The reliability of the instrument was estimated using McDonald’s Omega (ω).
Results:
EFA subsidized the distribution of the fifteen SNS-15 items into four factors. Using AFC, satisfactory fit indices were achieved (Comparative Fit Index = 0.94; Tucker-Lewis Index = 0.93; Root Mean Square Error of Approximation = 0.06; Standardized Root Mean Square Residual = 0.16) and ω = 0.86.
Conclusions:
the Brazilian version of the SNS-15 presents evidence that confirms its validity and reliability.

Objectives:
to psychometrically validate the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Core Quality of Life Questionnaire EORTC QLQ-INFO25 instrument and identify the domains that influence patients’ perception of the information received.
Methods:
a cross-sectional methodology with cancer patients in a Brazilian philanthropic hospital institution. Sociodemographic and clinical instruments, EORTC QLQ-C30, EORTC QLQ-INFO25 and Supportive Care Needs Survey – Short Form 34 were used. Analysis occurred using Cronbach’s alpha coefficients, intraclass correlation, test-retest and exploratory factor analysis.
Results:
128 respondents participated. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.85. The test-retest obtained p-value=0.21. In the factor analysis, one item was excluded. Satisfaction with the information received was 74%, with three areas with averages below 70%. In open-ended questions, there was a greater desire for information.
Conclusions:
validity evidence was obtained with instrument reliability, consistency and stability. Respondents expressed satisfaction with the information received.

Objetivo:
Analisar as práticas desenvolvidas pelos profissionais de enfermagem em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS).
Método:
Pesquisa qualitativa e avaliativa, baseada na Avaliação de Quarta Geração, realizada em um CAPS II de Santa Catarina em 2014. Para coleta de dados, utilizaram-se entrevistas semiestruturadas, observação de campo e grupo de reciclagem de dados com os trabalhadores. O Método Comparativo Constante foi utilizado para a análise dos dados.
Resultados:
Identificaram-se práticas voltadas para o sujeito e seus aspectos clínicos, sociais, de prevenção, tratamento e articulação com a rede de saúde. O cuidado à medicação é uma especificidade da enfermagem que visa promover autonomia e reinserção social. Há necessidade de maior articulação entre a equipe de enfermagem e farmácia, além da criação de espaços aos usuários para falar sobre a medicação.
Conclusão:
As práticas de enfermagem são voltadas para o cuidado biopsicossocial, visando desconstruir modelos de atenção focados na doença e sintomas.

Objetivo:
Estimar a prevalência e os fatores associados à ansiedade entre residentes multiprofissionais em saúde durante a pandemia da COVID-19.
Métodos:
Estudo transversal, realizado em julho de 2020 com residentes multiprofissionais em saúde (n = 67) de um hospital universitário. Utilizou-se a Beck Anxiety Inventory para avaliação da ansiedade. Analisaram-se os dados usando teste qui-quadrado, razão de verossimilhança e análise múltipla mediante regressão de Poisson com variância robusta.
Resultados:
A proporção de ansiedade moderada/grave foi de 31,30%, que apresentou associação significante com trabalhar em setores envolvendo COVID-19 e diretamente com casos suspeitos/confirmados de COVID-19. Na análise múltipla, observou-se prevalência de ansiedade nos participantes que precisaram de acompanhamento psicológico após entrada na residência e que usavam psicotrópicos.
Conclusão:
Os resultados parecem indicar que os residentes tiveram sua saúde mental prejudicada durante a pandemia, porém a manutenção das variáveis no modelo também sugere que buscaram ajuda para o controle da ansiedade.

Objectives:
To compare the knowledge on surgical safety through the team-based learning methodology and lecture classes for undergraduate Nursing students, and evaluate the learning satisfaction with team-based learning.
Methods:
Randomized, controlled, parallel, two-arm, unblinded clinical trial developed in the Faculty of Medicine of a public university in Botucatu, Brazil. The groups included 14 students for team-based learning and 11 students for lecture classes.
Results:
Students’ apprehension of knowledge in the team-based learning group was significantly higher compared to the control group (p<0.002) by considering the pre-test results. After 30 days, there was no significant difference between groups. The experience with the methodology was considered positive among students.
Conclusions:
Team-based learning is an important pedagogic tool available and has proven effective in education and learning with students playing the role of protagonists.

Objetivo:
Traduzir e adaptar a eHealth Literacy Scale para a realidade cultural do Brasil e avaliar suas propriedades psicométricas da versão em português brasileiro.
Métodos:
O instrumento foi traduzido e adaptado ao português brasileiro e, em seguida, aplicado em uma amostra de 502 indivíduos entre 18 e 80 anos residentes em áreas circunvizinhas a seis Unidades de Saúde da Família de um município do interior do estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Os dados foram avaliados mediante análises fatorial exploratória e confirmatória, Teoria de Resposta ao Item e confiabilidade do instrumento (alfa de Cronbach e ômega de McDonald).
Resultados:
O instrumento eHealth Literacy Scale – versão brasileira (eHEALS-Br) apresentou excelente consistência interna (α = 0,95 e ω = 0,95), apenas uma dimensão e variância explicada de 81,79%.
Conclusões:
A versão brasileira do instrumento mostrou excelentes propriedades psicométricas para aferição dos níveis de letramento digital em saúde em adultos do nosso país.

Objectives:
to report the user experience of the webQDA software in the support of qualitative data analysis about health literacy of older adults.
Methods:
quasi-experimental research developed from January 2014 to January 2015, with 118 older adults, all of whom were interviewed to assess the level of health literacy. Interviews were carried out before and after four educational interventions, according to Freire’s method named Culture Circle. The interviews were transcribed and entered in the software, which highlighted the analytical categories.
Results:
the systems of sources, interpretative encoding and questioning of the data available in the software allowed the construction of three categories for the literacy levels and four categories for their dimensions.
Final considerations:
We concluded that the webQDA software enables the structured encoding of qualitative materials, ensuring faster and effective management of data with systematization and analytical transparency.

Objetivo:
analisar o cuidado da enfermeira à dimensão espiritual da pessoa idosa hospitalizada.
Método:
estudo qualitativo, fundamentado na Teoria do Cuidado Humano Transpessoal de Jean Watson. Fizeram parte do estudo 17 enfermeiras que trabalham em um centro geriátrico de Salvador, Bahia, Brasil. A coleta de depoimentos ocorreu entre janeiro e abril de 2018, através de entrevista.
Resultados:
os cuidados espirituais desvelados foram: diálogo, estímulos e respeito às atividades religiosas, acolhimento, empatia. Um dos obstáculos à prestação desses cuidados foi o despreparo em acessar a dimensão espiritual da pessoa idosa.
Considerações finais:
a espiritualidade é uma dimensão do cuidado humano e holístico de enfermagem. Cuidar do espírito contribui para fomentar o cuidado transpessoal. A dificuldade pode estar na falta de preparo de enfermeiras e enfermeiros, sendo necessário que cultivem e vivam sua própria espiritualidade, transmitindo a compreensão em cada relação de cuidado.

Objetivo:
Verificar a efetividade da intervenção educativa por meio da avaliação do conhecimento dos enfermeiros sobre prevenção de lesão por pressão.
Método:
Estudo quase-experimental com um único grupo, realizado com 95 enfermeiros de um hospital de ensino do interior de Minas Gerais, nos meses de agosto e setembro de 2017. Como estratégia de ensino, utilizou-se a metodologia ativa e o ensino híbrido, baseado no referencial do Método do Arco de Charles Maguerez. Os dados foram coletados a partir de um instrumento validado, denominado Teste de Conhecimento de Pieper, e analisados por estatística descritiva e teste t de Student com nível de significância de p <0,001.
Resultados:
A média de acertos obtida pelos enfermeiros foi de 78,8% no pré-teste e 88,8% no pós-teste, sendo a diferença estatisticamente significativa (p < 0,001).
Conclusão:
A intervenção educativa desenvolvida foi efetiva, uma vez que contribuiu para o aprimoramento do conhecimento dos enfermeiros.

Objetivos:
analisar o conceito de sede perioperatória para o desenvolvimento de uma nova estrutura diagnóstica segundo a NANDA Internacional.
Métodos:
estudo de análise de conceito baseado no referencial proposto por Walker e Avant, instrumentalizada por meio de uma revisão integrativa da literatura nas bases SCOPUS, CINAHL, PUBMED, LILACS e WOS. A elaboração da estrutura diagnóstica seguiu as diretrizes da NANDA Internacional.
Resultados:
foram analisados 41 estudos revelando que a sede perioperatória é prevalente e intensa, tendo como núcleo do conceito atributos viscerais e comportamentais. Antecedentes indicam que o paciente cirúrgico é vulnerável à sede, e como consequentes, 16 sinais e sintomas foram organizados e casos modelo foram desenvolvidos. Foi desenvolvido uma estrutura diagnóstica para a sede perioperatória.
Considerações Finais:
a análise de conceito permitiu a padronização da linguagem que descreve o paciente com sede, auxiliando a identificação, planejamento de ações e comunicação da assistência de enfermagem perioperatória.
