Objectives:
to cross-culturally adapt the scale Resultados en la valoración y evolución de la cicatrización de las heridas – RESVECH 2.0 for Brazilian Portuguese; to estimate the internal consistency and construct and criterion validity of the scale in the evaluation of venous ulcers.
Methods:
methodological study, based on international guidelines for studies of this type. Wounds were evaluated using the RESVECH 2.0 and Pressure Ulcer Scale of Healing 3.0 (PUSH). Descriptive analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, Cronbach’s alpha and Spearman’s correlation (p<0.05) were used.
Results:
12 nurses and 77 people with 153 venous ulcers participated in the study. The translation was successful, the proposed factor model was validated, and Cronbach ‘s alpha = 0.832 (95%CI, 0.780-0.880) and correlation coefficient (RESVECH 2.0 and PUSH 3.0) = 0.74 were obtained.
Conclusions:
the adaptation of RESVECH 2.0 to Brazilian Portuguese is robust. Reliability and validity show compatibility for use in the country in the evaluation of venous ulcers.

Objectives:
to identify the prevalence and characteristics associated with sarcopenia in elders in Primary Health Care Units.
Methods:
cross-sectional study with 384 elders. To evaluate sarcopenia, we measured: strength and muscle mass, and physical performance. The elderly were classified as having: probable sarcopenia; sarcopenia; or severe sarcopenia. The chi-squared test and the multinomial logistic regression method were used.
Results:
the prevalence of probable sarcopenia was 25.52%; of sarcopenia, 11.98%; and of severe sarcopenia, 9.90%. Probable sarcopenia is 1.75 times more prevalent in men; osteoporosis is 2.16 times more prevalent in people with severe sarcopenia; polypharmacy is 1.57 times more likely in individuals with probable sarcopenia; and calf circumference below 31 cm is 2.24 times more likely in patients with sarcopenia and 2.19 times more likely in patients with severe sarcopenia.
Conclusions:
the highest prevalence was of probable sarcopenia, and the characteristics associated with sarcopenia were sex, osteoporosis, polypharmacy, overweight, obesity, and calf circumference.

Objectives:
to characterize the outline of a project for health education and its contributions to the propagation of information on the Instagram social network.
Methods:
exploratory and descriptive research on an Instagram profile called ;. Data collection: from July 23, 2020, to April 21, 2021. Interaction metrics were generated on 36 posts. Simple and percentage statistical analysis were applied.
Results:
there are 1,016 followers in Brazil, with a 206.02% growth. The largest audience is teenagers, young people, and women, with a gender difference of 41.8%. The greatest interest was about covid-19, sexual health, and drugs. Followers’ misconceptions reinforce the need for the dissemination of quality information.
Conclusions:
Instagram metrics point to the project’s validation in terms of audience interest, mostly adolescents and youth. Instagram proved to be powerful for educational purposes and information dissemination, as well as an autonomous field for nursing.

Objectives:
to adapt and validate an instrument for classifying adult patients that emphasizes the family support network in the demand for nursing care.
Methods:
methodological study, carried out in three phases: adaptation of an instrument considering the reality of adult patients; content validation with seven experts and assessment of measurement properties (construct validity and internal consistency) with 781 hospitalized patients.
Results:
in content validation, the indicators reached the values established for the Content Validity Index (0.85-1.00). In the confirmatory factor analysis, the 11 indicators were distributed in three domains and presented average variance extracted and factor loading greater than 0.5. Composite reliability was greater than 0.7.
Conclusions:
the present study adapted and made available, with evidence of validity and reliability, an instrument for classifying adult patients that considers the family support network in the demand for nursing care.

Objective:
to analyze the characteristics of the activation of the yellow code in wards and identify the factors associated with adverse events after the Rapid Response Team.
Methods:
a cross-sectional study with retrospective analysis of medical records of adults admitted to medical or surgical clinic wards of the University Hospital of São Paulo.
Results:
among the 91 patients, the most frequent signs of triggers (n=107) were peripheral oxygen saturation of less than 90% (40.2%) and hypotension (30.8%). Regarding the associated factors the research identified each minute of attendance of the Rapid Response Team in the wards increased by 1.2% odds of adverse events (twenty-four unplanned admission in the ICU and one cardiac arrest) in the sample (p=0.014).
Conclusions:
decreased oxygen saturation and hypotension were the main reasons for the triggering, and the length of care was associated with the frequency of adverse events.

Objective:
to understand how variables strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats make it possible to characterize work in Primary Health Care, to collectively propose strategies for systematizing this process with Family Health teams.
Methods:
methodological research, with 23 participants in direct relationship with Primary Care, including representatives of segments: care (work), management and social control. In one of the three pedagogical meetings, the SWOT matrix was used as a tool for organizational work planning.
Results:
applying the matrix resulted in the following thematic categories: Teamwork and regulations: key elements for interprofessionality at work; Continuing Health Education: path to autonomy and participatory management (co-management).
Final considerations:
the study promoted the systematization of teams’ work, through the mobilization of sectors and distribution of tasks, involving professionals in the co-management of the process.

Objective:
to understand the exercise of professional autonomy by obstetric nurses in dealing with complications in planned home births.
Methods:
this is a qualitative study, supported by the Discourse of the Collective Subject methodological framework, whose data collection took place from January to March 2021, through interviews guided by a semi-structured script, in which seven midwives who are members of a childbirth care collective in northeastern Brazil and who work in the home context participated.
Results:
four central ideas emerged from the collective discourses related to the exercise of professional autonomy by obstetric nurses: shared decisions; theoretical-practical instrumentalization; professional expertise; and teamwork.
Final considerations:
obstetric nurses’ autonomy in the face of complications reflects the safety of planned home births and is based on collective critical thinking, reinforcing this professional’ leading role in obstetrics.

Objective:
to create and validate an educational video on intramuscular drug administration using the Z-track technique.
Methods:
the Delphi Technique was used to validate the script. PhDs in Nursing and PhDs in Social Communication with experience in the production of educational videos participated in the process. After editing, the video was validated by three nursing professors and assessed by students of the undergraduate nursing program at a public university.
Results:
the video was validated by the examiners with 100% agreement in three rounds for script validation and in two for video validation after editing. The duration of the video was 9 minutes.
Conclusion:
after validation by the examiners, students assessed the video and considered it suitable for learning. We This video is expected to aid in the training of nursing professionals and the enhancement of patient care.

Objectives:
to analyze films and documentaries about eating disorders from the last twenty years, identifying the way they approach the topic as well as their relevance for didactic use in teaching the health field.
Methods:
a descriptive study, whose data collection was carried out on the main streaming and video platforms, resulting in the survey of 60 media. Of these, only 25 had audio/subtitles in Portuguese (inclusion criteria). scientific relevance was analyzed considering psychopathological and epidemiological aspects of these disorders. A questionnaire about the plot, characters and descriptive data analysis were used.
Results:
most media were dramas about female teenagers who tried to conform to beauty stereotypes, whose symptoms portrayed converged with current medical diagnostic manuals.
Conclusions:
in practical terms, a classificatory list of 11 media was prepared that could be used as a teaching resource for teaching this topic in the health field.

Objectives:
to map the production of technologies aimed at monitoring falls in a hospital environment protected by registered patents.
Methods:
a technological prospecting of international patents, with a quantitative approach, with search carried out between February and March 2022 in the Derwent Innovations Index database with descriptors fall, hospital, monitoring.
Results:
212 patents were found, with the majority filed and published since 2010, by Tran B (9) and Cerner Innovation Inc (9), focused on health technology. Universities were responsible for 13% of deposits. There was a predominance of records from the United States (43.4%), China (21.7%) and Japan (12.3%), in addition to technological strategies classified as devices for the environment (80.7%) and for preventing falls (66.5%) as well as trend towards resources with multiple functionalities in the same technology.
Conclusions:
the plurality of functions in the same device reflects the search for optimizing resources and the concern with comprehensive care.

Objectives:
to map the scientific evidence related to the characteristics, themes, and outcomes of using health education podcasts aimed at individuals over 18 years of age in intra or extrahospital environments.
Methods:
a scoping review, based on the Joanna Briggs Institute method, conducted in 11 databases, including studies from 2004 to 2022.
Results:
11 studies were selected, categorized, highlighting the characteristics, evaluated outcomes, areas, and conditions of podcast application, indicating it as an effective tool for promoting behavioral change, health promotion, and social interaction, demonstrating its potential to improve well-being, quality of life, and user/client autonomy.
Conclusions:
the use of podcasts proves to be an effective, innovative, and low-cost tool, with a significant social impact, being effective for behavioral change, satisfaction, and social interaction. However, the lack of comprehensive studies on podcast development methodologies represents challenges to be overcome.

Objectives:
to analyze the role of nursing in the establishment of an HIV/AIDS Testing and Counseling Center in a Brazilian municipality.
Methods:
a historical study utilizing primary sources, including documents and oral accounts, involving a total of ten participants. The study encompasses the years 1997 and 1998. The research took place at the Testing and Counseling Center in São João de Meriti. Data was collected from March to May 2022.
Results:
nursing made significant contributions through the development of training initiatives led by nurses, who were also responsible for individual and group counseling, as well as HIV testing requests.
Final Considerations:
nursing played a crucial role in the center and in the management of Sexually Transmitted Infections, being involved in all stages of treatment in accordance with current public health policy.

Objectives:
to identify immersion use in hot water to relieve pain in newborns.
Methods:
an integrative literature review, carried out in the PubMed, VHL, EMBASE, Scopus, CINAHL, Cochrane and SciELO databases, with investigations in English, Spanish, French or Portuguese, published between 2002 and 2022. The Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS) and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) were used to answer the following question: what are the uses of hot water immersion in relieving pain in newborns?
Results:
nine studies were included, mainly Brazilian, experimental, with a predominance of strong and moderate levels of evidence. Hydrotherapy and bath use (immersion and bandaging) was observed, promising interventions in reducing pain scores, assessed using scales, physiological and endocrine parameters.
Conclusions:
hot water proved to be a promising non-pharmacological intervention in relieving pain in infants in different contexts.

Objetivos:
describir el perfil de los ancianos que acceden a internet para buscar información de salud e identificar los factores que pueden influir en las decisiones de los ancianos sobre su salud a partir de la información recopilada en línea.
Métodos:
391 ancianos respondieron a un cuestionario online sobre hábitos y satisfacción con la información de salud recogida en internet. El procesamiento de datos implicó regresión logística.
Resultados:
la educación superior reduce en un 44% la probabilidad de que un anciano siga las recomendaciones de salud en los sitios web. Sin embargo, las actividades sociales y la salud autopercibida aumentan la posibilidad de seguir las recomendaciones en un 83% y un 71%, respectivamente. La creencia de que internet promueve hábitos saludables aumenta 29,2 veces la probabilidad de que un anciano siga un consejo.
Consideraciones Finales:
conocer el perfil de los ancianos que utilizan internet puede ayudar a los profesionales a formular políticas públicas y construir buenas plataformas de información sobre salud y bienestar.

Objectives:
to carry out the cultural adaptation and evaluation of validity evidence of the Student Nurse Stressor-15 (SNS-15) Scale for use in Brazil.
Methods:
psychometric study, conducted from the stages of translation, synthesis, back-translation, review by a committee of seven experts, pre-test and evaluation of measurement properties with 32 and 238 nursing students, respectively. Descriptive statistics, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were performed. The reliability of the instrument was estimated using McDonald’s Omega (ω).
Results:
EFA subsidized the distribution of the fifteen SNS-15 items into four factors. Using AFC, satisfactory fit indices were achieved (Comparative Fit Index = 0.94; Tucker-Lewis Index = 0.93; Root Mean Square Error of Approximation = 0.06; Standardized Root Mean Square Residual = 0.16) and ω = 0.86.
Conclusions:
the Brazilian version of the SNS-15 presents evidence that confirms its validity and reliability.

Objectives:
to psychometrically validate the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Core Quality of Life Questionnaire EORTC QLQ-INFO25 instrument and identify the domains that influence patients’ perception of the information received.
Methods:
a cross-sectional methodology with cancer patients in a Brazilian philanthropic hospital institution. Sociodemographic and clinical instruments, EORTC QLQ-C30, EORTC QLQ-INFO25 and Supportive Care Needs Survey – Short Form 34 were used. Analysis occurred using Cronbach’s alpha coefficients, intraclass correlation, test-retest and exploratory factor analysis.
Results:
128 respondents participated. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.85. The test-retest obtained p-value=0.21. In the factor analysis, one item was excluded. Satisfaction with the information received was 74%, with three areas with averages below 70%. In open-ended questions, there was a greater desire for information.
Conclusions:
validity evidence was obtained with instrument reliability, consistency and stability. Respondents expressed satisfaction with the information received.

Objectives:
to build and validate three clinical simulation scenarios and report the application with candidates for the specialist’s degree in stomatherapy.
Methods:
methodological study, building three scenarios and evaluation checklists; content validation with judges, using content validity index and Modified Kappa Coefficient; pre-test and application.
Results:
scenarios built based on nursing care for: 1. insufficiency and venous ulcer; 2. demarcation of intestinal stomia; and 3. Clean intermittent catheterization. In the content validation of the 24 items appreciated, 83%, 80%, and 92% were validated without change. In the pre-test, the objectives and checklists were adjusted. In the application, to standardize the evaluation, actors and evaluators were trained previously, and each candidate passed the three stations.
Conclusions:
scenarios built and with validated content, based on evidence and covering the three areas of stomatherapy. The pre-test allowed for adjustments in the scenarios, and the candidates achieved the expected objectives.

Objetivos:
discutir a (in)visibilidade de crianças com necessidades especiais de saúde e suas famílias no contexto da Atenção Primária à Saúde.
Métodos:
relato de experiência acerca das dificuldades enfrentadas por pesquisadoras de diferentes regiões do Brasil para localizar crianças com necessidades especiais de saúde no âmbito da atenção primária.
Resultados:
a principal justificativa para essas crianças e suas famílias serem “desconhecidas” e, por conseguinte, não assistidas na atenção primária, é o fato de serem acompanhadas por instituições/ambulatórios e clínicas especializadas e/ou de reabilitação públicas, ou ainda, por terem plano de saúde privado.
Considerações Finais:
a transferência de responsabilidade do cuidado das equipes da atenção primária para instituições especializadas e de reabilitação pode estar relacionada à falta de conhecimento das demandas de cuidados deste grupo, bem como à valorização do cuidado centrado na reabilitação e na especialidade em detrimento da longitudinalidade do cuidado, um dos atributos da atenção primária à saúde.

Objective:
to analyze the association between sexuality and quality of life of Brazilian elderly residents in the community.
Methods:
a cross-sectional study conducted with 477 Brazilian elderly. The data were collected between August and October 2020. We used the EVASI and WHOQOL-OLD (World Health Organization Quality of Life). Data analysis was performed with Mann-Whitney, Spearman and Kruskal-Wallis correlation tests, with Bonferroni post-hoc application when necessary, considering a 95% confidence interval.
Results:
there was a statistical association between all dimensions of sexuality and the general quality of life of the elderly (p<0.05).
Conclusion:
the stimulation of sexuality can be configured as an innovative and holistic strategy focused on the promotion of health and active aging, since this study found the association between sexuality and the general quality of life of elderly people.

Objective:
to assess elderly people’s quality of life, understanding the social representations of falls.
Methods:
a convergent mixed methods research carried out at homes, with a sample of 134 elderly people. A structured questionnaire was used, covering sociodemographic variables and factors that indicated frailty and risk of falling. For quality of life assessment, Medical Outcomes Study Short-Form 36 and Theory of Social Representations, Abric’s structural approach were used, with data treated by dictionary of equivalent terms, processed in Evoc 2000, converging analytically according to Neuman.
Results:
quality of life impairment was identified in terms of physical, emotional and functional capacity. The elements of the possible central nucleus were fall, fear, and bruised-broken-bone.
Final considerations:
quality of life impairment can contribute to increase the number of falls, which has been shown to be an event present in elderly people’s lives through evocations. Understanding elderly people’s individual demands allows planning actions.

Objective:
To understand what factors motivate people to reduce or stop tobacco use and what difficulties they face in this process.
Method:
Qualitative, empirical and interpretative research that used a focal group technique for data collection and Discourse Analysis as a theoretical reference for analysis.
Results:
The responses centered on the following aspects: motivation for reduction or cessation of smoking, family and community support received during treatment, benefits from cessation of tobacco, difficulties encountered and strategies for overcoming triggers.
Final Considerations:
The results showed that the users expressed their desire for cessation of tobacco use and that to achieve this goal, family and group support, professional help and changing habits are key factors for this process.

Objetivos:
verificar a suspeição de transtornos mentais comuns em acadêmicos de enfermagem no ciclo profissionalizante e a associação com as características sociodemográficas.
Método:
estudo transversal com uma amostra de 85 acadêmicos de uma universidade pública do estado do Rio de Janeiro (RJ) que responderam ao Self Report Questtionaire-20 e questões sociodemográficas.
Resultados:
a prevalência de suspeição de transtornos mentais comuns (TMC) na amostra foi de 55,3%, sendo identificada a associação com o consumo de bebidas alcoólicas. Das queixas do SRQ-20 mais frequentes 95,3% afirmaram “se sentir nervosos, tenso ou preocupado”, 72,9% “ter dificuldades em tomar decisões”, 60% “dormir mal” e 37,6 “ter perdido o interesse pelas coisas”.
Conclusão:
a alta prevalência de TMC na amostra e a associação com o consumo de bebidas alcóolicas exige ações de cunho preventivo e terapêutico junto aos acadêmicos que, minimizem a possibilidade de transtornos mentais severos relacionados ao consumo de álcool e outras drogas.

Objetivos:
analisar o conhecimento e a prática de promoção de saúde realizada por enfermeiros de Estratégias Saúde da Família.
Métodos:
estudo descritivo e de abordagem qualitativa. O estudo foi realizado com 18 enfermeiros de Estratégias Saúde da Família do município de São Carlos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista semiestruturada e analisados por meio da análise temática. O estudo foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa.
Resultados:
os dados revelaram que os enfermeiros apresentaram dificuldades para conceituar a promoção de saúde, sendo comum descrever a definição de prevenção de doenças. Os enfermeiros também relataram desenvolver atividades grupais para a promoção de saúde; porém, as ações de caráter individual e em forma de consultas ainda eram predominantes.
Considerações Finais:
torna-se necessário o desenvolvimento de estratégias sustentáveis para a realização de atividades coletivas de promoção em saúde, além do fortalecimento do trabalho multidisciplinar e das ações de Educação Permanente.
