Visualizações0Ver maisABSTRACT
Objective:
To identify the social representations of newly undergraduate nurses on the intensive care of Nursing to critical patients hospitalized in non-critical patient units.
Method:
Qualitative and descriptive research. Twenty-six newly undergraduate nurses from a private university participated. An in-depth interview was conducted with semi-structured script. The analysis was of lexical type with the help of Alceste 2012 software.
Results:
The social representations were built according to the image of the intensive care unit, although patients were out of this environment. Care is understood as complex and specialized, requiring graduate training. Therefore, undergraduation training was considered insufficient to provide this type of care, creating fear and insecurity in the newly undergraduate nurses.
Final considerations:
Intensive care confronts newly undergraduate nurses with feelings of unpreparedness to care for, but it mobilizes to broaden the knowledge to provide care. There is evidence of a theory-practice dichotomy and weaknesses in teaching-learning experiences in undergraduate education.

The sample consisted of 19 professionals from the multidisciplinary team involved in the enteral nutritional therapy process and the unit’s documentary sample. For the data collection, we used a semi-structured script, participant observation and documentary analysis.
Results:
There were eight nonconformities related to enteral diet therapy. During the participant observation, there was a lack of a management model that seeks the continuous improvement of the process, as well as resistance to change.
Conclusion:
Although enteral diet therapy is important in the patient’s evolution, there are adverse events that could be prevented and the Lean philosophy assists in the identification of process nonconformities.

Objective:
To map and categorize, according to the Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC), the specific assignments of the nurses and to identify the assignments shared with doctors and physiotherapists in the Emergency Service.
Method:
Descriptive exploratory study, carried out in two phases: first, the analysis of dissertations /theses from the database of the Center for Studies and Research of the Brazilian Nursing Association; Second, the use of the Delphi Technique to reach the consensus about which assignments were specific to the nurse and which were shared with physiotherapists and doctors.
Results:
The results were 45.7% for specific to the nurses, 14.2% for shared with physiotherapists and/or doctors, and in 40% (n=42) there was no consensus about the sharing of assignments.
Conclusion:
The sharing of actions among professionals shows an increase in the scope of the practice of professions and the constitution of a common sphere of work, but the high number of assignments with no consensus among specialists can be a potential factor in conflicts due to the lack of definition of these assignments.
