Objective:
To describe and analyze the national and international scientific production on Nursing care for the transgender or gender-variance population.
Method:
Integrative review of the literature, conducted throughout the Virtual Health Library, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Public Medline and Web of Science databases, without pre-established periods of time and using the descriptors "Transgender AND ‘Nursing Assistance'" and "Transgender AND ‘Nursing care'".
Results:
We included 11 articles, published between 2005 and 2016, broadly North American with only one Brazilian, so categorized: I- Fragility in the care of transgender people; II - Health of the transgender population: general and specific demands; III- Public health policies for transgender people. Transgender people have not found yet answers to their health demands; they are victims of prejudices and violence in services and seek care in extreme cases of sickness.
Final considerations:
Understanding their needs is primordial to build knowledge and practices that support nursing care.

Objective:
To assess the strategies used by the Nursing team to minimize medication errors in emergency units.
Method:
Integrative literature review in the PubMed, BDenf, Cochrane and LILACS databases. Timeless research, without language limitation, performed by peers. Articles published in full that answered the guiding question were included in research.
Results:
Educational strategies (conducting campaigns, elaborating explanatory manuals, creating a multidisciplinary committee involved in the prevention and reduction of adverse drug events); organizational (meetings, Deviance positive, creation of protocols and changes in the work process) and new technologies (implementation of prescription by computerized system, introduction of the unit doses and of the bar code in the administration of medicines) were evidenced in the studies with the purpose of minimizing medication errors in an emergency unit.
Conclusion:
The strategies identified were effective in minimizing medication errors in emergency units.

Objective:
Analyze the literature for knowledge about charismatic leadership among nursing professionals.
Method:
This is an integrative review of the literature that searched for studies published in English, Portuguese and Spanish until 2016 in the following electronic databases: LILACS, Pubmed, SCOPUS, Web of Science, and CINAHL.
Results:
Three studies were selected from a total of twenty-one studies; they were arranged in two categories: validation of a charismatic leadership instrument and effects of charismatic leadership on followers' initiative-oriented behavior.
Conclusion:
Charismatic leadership is considered an important skill for nursing professionals as they generate a positive influence on followers, especially in times of crisis and changes. Considering the relevance of this style of leadership, the need to develop further studies on this subject is reinforced, given the low number of studies found in the literature.

Objective:
to carry out a literature review to characterize the production in the Nursing area about the use of movies and videos in Nursing education, related to underlying communication assumptions and contents taught.
Method:
integrative bibliographic review carried out in the PUBMED databases, CAPES journal portal, and SCIELO online library, with studies from 2007 to 2016.
Results:
36 articles were included, in which audiovisual resources are part of the research subject. There are predominance of validation and effectiveness studies, in which audiovisual resources are used mostly as a reproduction of reality, mainly to develop clinical skills, with the purpose of illustrating procedures or bringing students closer to real contexts of action.
Final considerations:
the results point to a weak theoretical support of most of the studies. It is suggested that more empirical research be conducted to offer more consistent contributions to Nursing teaching.

Objective:
To identify evidence about the effects of growth factor application on venous ulcer healing.
Method:
Systematic review and meta-analysis, including Randomized Clinical Trials. Searches: Ovid MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, Cochrane CENTRAL, LILACS, Web of Science, Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations; Google Scholar and list of references.
Results:
802 participants were recruited from the 10 included studies: 472 in the intervention group (growth factors) and 330 as control. The relative risk for the complete healing outcome was 1.06 [95% CI 0.92-1.22], p = 0.41. Participants who received Platelet-Rich Plasma and Epidermal Growth Factor showed a slight tendency to achieve complete healing, but without statistical relevance (p <0.05). Most of the studies were classified as moderate risk of bias.
Conclusion:
The effect of the application of growth factors for complete healing in venous ulcers is not clear, and clinical trials with methodological quality are required for more accurate recommendations.

Objective:
To identify in the literature the defining characteristics and related factors of the nursing diagnosis "ineffective breathing pattern".
Method:
Integrative review with the steps: problem identification, literature search, evaluation and analysis of data and presentation of results.
Results:
Twenty articles and two dissertations were included. In children, the most prevalent related factor was bronchial secretion, followed by hyperventilation. The main defining characteristics were dyspnea, tachypnea, cough, use of accessory muscles to breathe, orthopnea and adventitious breath sounds. Bronchial secretion, cough and adventitious breath sounds are not included in the NANDA-International (NANDA-I). For adults and older adults, the related factors were fatigue, pain and obesity and the defining characteristics were dyspnea, orthopnea and tachypnea.
Conclusion:
This diagnosis manifests differently according to the patients’ age group. It was observed that some defining characteristics and related factors are not included in the NANDA-I. Their inclusion can improve this nursing diagnosis.
