Objective:
This study intends to analyze how the human condition of the nurse is established in the context of Psychosocial Care Centers (Caps).
Method:
theoretical-reflexive study, anchored in three essential parts: 1) Theoretical and philosophical conception of the human condition from Hannah Arendt’s perspective; 2) The nurse’s work in the Caps; and 3) Human condition to think about the work of the nurse.
Results:
in the context of the Caps, the work can be represented by the psychic significations; the work, through the production of nurses’ practice of care; and the action by the relations established between worker and institution, worker and user.
Final considerations:
the understanding of the vita activa allows to reflect on the human condition of the nurse in their work context and (re) considers a better understanding about the impact of the work on the life of these mental health workers in the contemporaneity.

Objective:
To discuss the methods employed to evaluate the effectiveness of clinical surface cleaning and disinfection (C&D).
Method:
This is a theoretical reflection based on scientific studies and the experience of the authors. Knowledge and current gaps, the need for further studies, and practical application of the methods were approached.
Results:
There are four main methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of clinical surface C&D: visual inspection, fluorescent markers, microbiological cultures, and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) bioluminescence. The first two are used to evaluate the process and to predict adherence to protocols by the staff, and the last two are employed to evaluate the results, therefore being the most relevant to assess the risk of infection.
Final considerations:
The ideal method was not found, because all of them showed limitations. There is a need for strategies to optimize the precision of these methods.

Objective:
To present the limitations of the nursing care for women with fetal death, reflecting on this challenge for care practices.
Method:
Reflective study with theoretical focus on national and international publications, along with the experience of the authors in the area of women’s health and obstetrics.
Results:
There are limitations related to nursing care, which involve feelings of insecurity and powerlessness, inappropriate attitudes of these professionals in front of women, difficulties to manage emotional aspects, and structural problems of health services.
Final Considerations:
This study points out that there are challenges to qualify nursing care for women with fetal death, which included academic studies and continuing education in health services. Relational aspects should be valued and demand more sensitivity from nurses, with more empathic relationships in the care for women with fetal death.

Objective:
To reflect on the contributions of the clinical supervision and preceptorship/tutorship as means to approach and engage nurses of healthcare services in activities related to the Supervised Curricular Internship, discussing conceptual, theoretical, and practical approaches for higher education in nursing.
Method:
This is a reflection based on the discursive formulation concerning clinical supervision and preceptorship/tutorship.
Results:
Clinical supervision has been widely used by international healthcare institutions to qualify the work processes of nurses, supporting their self-development. Currently, is has been supporting the work of nurses who are preceptors/tutors and monitors students on clinical internships.
Final considerations:
The clinical supervision of nursing students features a robust and effective strategy for the development of interns and for the completion of the teaching-service integration.

Objective:
to discuss search-interference, whose processes are related to the field of health and the social field.
Method:
theoretical essay used as basis in the philosophy of difference represented by the philosophers Baruch Espinosa and Gilles Deleuze.
Results:
the present reflection resulted from the meeting of studies from the nursing field that deal with the production of knowledge based on the interference mode. The endeavor of crossing studies produced a theoretical composition presented in three plateaus: interference, a research that welcomes the In-World Experiences; a way of producing researchers; and a nomad mode in health research.
Final Consideration:
search-interference can be considered as a nomad ethical and political mode for producing research whose consistence plan is provisory, rhizomatic and the result of meetings, forces, intensities and affects produced in the research field.

Objective:
To discuss the contribution of nursing theories in the conceptual expansion of good practices in the area for the construction of the unified health system (Sistema Único de Saúde – SUS).
Method:
Theoretical production of reflection, based on the neomodern framework of philosophy of science.
Results:
The knowledge and political, social and epistemological commitments of nursing are discussed, highlighting the relationship of the theories with good practices for the construction and application of knowledge in the area in the context of the Brazilian health care system. Reflection on how middle-range theories can help in solving dichotomies between discipline, theory, practice, producers and consumers of knowledge is made.
Conclusion:
Original reflections on the contributions of disciplinary and professional knowledge of nursing theories to the creation of SUS are presented, defending a creation through the academy-service partnership, in which the theories start being incorporated into a new concept of nursing practices aligned to neomodern principles of science.

Objective:
To discuss and reflect on collective health nursing practices, presenting the work-related experience of nurses.
Method:
This was a reflection paper based on the labor process theory.
Results:
Studies conducted in research groups, discussions at scientific events, and professional experiences point to the importance of recognizing the intentionality of health work. Furthermore, it is essential t understand the health-illness-care process adopted and advocated by health professionals, and the role of social determinants and the entire historical, political, economic and social context of professional training, healthcare service organization and society.
Conclusion:
Collective health nursing practices play an important role in the health care provided to the population. Nurses are reference professionals in health care in all stages of life; however, further reflection is required on professional training, politicization, and the concepts of health and illness that guide professional practices.
